Be brave and try it out. It’s super fun!!!!!!!! - Hello! Here’s my opinion regarding the beach and the classes/instructor. The beach: it’s at the very end of a sea salt pond and a few kilometers away from the Bani’s dunes. There’s no building or house (just a bar/restaurant and a military base) by the beach which makes it easier to enjoy the lesson without worrying about other swimmers and worrying of someone taking your things. Classes/instructor: if you’re really interested and intrigued about kitesurfing I will totally recommend taking the classes. From the very first class you will want to keep learning since you’ll see how fun and “easy” it is…. The instructor’s name is Humberto. He’s a really good guy who just wants everyone that comes to take the classes feel the same passion he feels when kitesurfing (he has being doing for 9+ years). He not only has the experience but also the gift to teach people. Let’s be honest, everyone can be very good at something but few of us have the “gift” to teach. You need patience, willingness to repeat everything, able to make it fun and entertaining, etc. Humberto has the key to make it happen from start. ……… whenever you decide to be brave enough to take the classes come find me at the beach😉 I’ll probably be out there having fun😃😎👌

Great lessons at Salinas - Humberto has been an excellent instructor-he is clear, patient and transmits confidence to his students. His equipment is in excellent condition. After working with other instructors in the past it's clear he's to one to keep learning with!

Best place to learn to kite in DR - Excelent place to learn to kite. It is windy all year long, very little rain. No crowds. Humberto is a great teacher, the school is well equipped, and safety is a priority. I learned to kite from zero with Humberto and has been a great experience.

Unbelievable - Wow wow wow we came to Dominican Republic to check out. We have heard that the best place is Cabarete….well Salinas is absolutely amazing. What makes Salinas even better is Humberto. He is an awesome guy an amazing teacher and a friend for life. Salinas and Humberto is so good I spent over 12 weeks Kiting here and I can’t tell you how much I enjoy working with Humberto buying and renting equipment from him learning from him and enjoying the most amazing bay to kite that I’ve ever been to.
