Sapa - Cat Cat - Y Linh Ho – Tavan
Cat Cat Village - The tour begins by departing from the bustling town and trekking through the market. Soon, the journey continues downhill towards Cat Cat Village, nestled in a picturesque valley approximately 3 kilometers from Sapa town.

Sapa - Cat Cat - Y Linh Ho – Tavan
Cat Cat Village - The tour begins by departing from the bustling town and trekking through the market. Soon, the journey continues downhill towards Cat Cat Village, nestled in a picturesque valley approximately 3 kilometers from Sapa town.
Upon arrival, there will be a pause to admire the beauty of a waterfall and a hydroelectric station. The road offers breathtaking landscapes and fresh air.
Y Linh Ho - Next, the trek proceeds along another trail to Y Linh Ho Village, home to the Black Hmong community. It’s important to note that the trail can become slippery during the rainy season from Cat Cat to Y Linh Ho. Here, visitors can observe and learn about the fascinating daily life and activities of these ethnic minority people. Additionally, the stunning rice paddy terraces are a sight to behold.
A rest in the village includes a delightful lunch served by the river.
After lunch, the afternoon program begins with a trek to Muong Hoa Valley. Along the way, the route passes through Lao Chai Village of the Black Hmong minority and then Tavan Village of the Giay minority, following a popular trekking path. Visitors can explore the village, enjoy the breathtaking valley views, and take a refreshing swim in the nearby river.
Tavan - Seomity
Sapa - After breakfast, the second day’s trekking adventure begins, mostly uphill until lunchtime. Rest stops offer stunning valley views, so keeping a camera handy is recommended to capture these fantastic images.
Before noon, a pleasant spot is chosen for lunch.
Following lunch and a brief rest, the afternoon program commences. The trek becomes easier, yet the scenery grows even more beautiful. The path leads past Seomity Village, inhabited by the Black Hmong ethnic minority, before reaching a campsite near a river outside the village. While porters set up tents and prepare dinner, there’s an opportunity to stretch and relax.
Seomity – Den Thang - Ta Trung Ho
Sapa - From Seomity Village, the trek continues on a small trail through a rainforest.
By noon, Den Thang Village, home to the Black Hmong people, is reached. Lunch can be enjoyed by a river or in a local school, depending on the weather.
After lunch and a short break, the trek continues on a more challenging route with a narrow footpath. Caution is advised to ensure safety.
The journey then leads to Ta Trung Ho Village, where the Red Dao ethnic minority resides. Time is spent exploring the village, engaging with locals, and enjoying their warm hospitality overnight.
Ta Trung Ho - Nam Toong – My Son – Thanh
Sapa - On day 4, an early breakfast at Ta Trung Ho Village precedes another trekking adventure. The trek begins at the edge of the rainforest by the Hoang Lien Son mountain range. Notably, Fansipan, known as the “Roof of Indochina” at 3,140 meters, is located in this range.
The trek ascends to Nam Toong Village, home to the Red Dao ethnic minority. Locals provide a tour of the village, and lunch is served at a local school.
Sapa - After lunch, the afternoon program involves trekking downhill to the valley where My Son Village of the Xa Pho minority is located, one of Northern Vietnam’s smallest ethnic groups.
Leaving this village, the journey continues to Thanh Phu Village, inhabited by the Tay ethnic people. Here, a night is spent in a traditional Tay house. Visitors can explore the village, observe local activities, and enjoy a delicious meal featuring typical Vietnamese dishes. The day 4 program concludes.
Thanh Phu - Nam Cum – Sin Chai

A pleasant spot is chosen for lunch.
After lunch, the afternoon program involves walking towards Sin Chai Village, home to the Red Dao ethnic minority group.
Upon arrival, time is spent exploring the village, participating in, and learning about the locals’ daily activities.
Sin Chai - Nam Ket –Ben Den – Lao Cai
Terraced Rice Fields in Sin Chai Village - Once ready, the journey from Sin Chai continues through a stunning mountainous area, the most remote part of Sapa.
Along the way, the natural beauty of mountains, bamboo forests, and jungles is enjoyed, along with the curious gaze of children at unfamiliar tourists. Most residents are from the Red Dao ethnic minority.
A stop at Nam Ket is made for lunch.
Sapa - After lunch and a brief rest, the trek descends for half an hour to a green valley along the Red River, offering one of the most magnificent views of the natural landscape. Keeping a camera handy is recommended to capture these beautiful images.
Finally, Ta Thang Village, home to the Tay ethnic minority, is reached. Upon arrival, a driver will transport visitors back to Lao Cai station to catch a train back to Hanoi, concluding the tour.
