Akagera Game Drive - We had an amazing time visiting Akagera Park from Kigali. Beautiful scenery and we saw many animals. Zidane, our guide, was very knowledgeable. We’re planning a future trip with them and would recommend to friends.

Amazing experience! - The Akagera Safari with Wild Hikes Rwanda was genuinely one of the most beautiful experiences I’ve ever had. Our guide Bagena made sure we had a lovely day, looking for all our favourite animals in the park and giving us interesting facts about them and about Rwanda. He was very knowledgable and happily answered all our questions. We learnt a lot and loved the Safari, absolutely recommended!

Lovely tour of Akagera - Our guide, Bagena, was super considerate and prioritized what we wanted to see. He had nice insights on the animals, yet allowed us to enjoy the beauty of the park in calm. I highly recommend this tour company! This has been an unforgettably beautiful experience!

5-star experience - I’ve just finished a 1-day tour of Akagena Park. Bagena, our travel guide, was caring and had a lot of experience with the park. We saw many animals (4 of the big five) due to his willingness to make it happen!

On the road in savannes, swamps, Hillegom and jungle. - We took the whole trip through Akangera. From the very South until the North. The lions were sleeping during the day. We saw lots of zebras, antilopen, waterbuffels, other antilopes, hippo's and elephants. Amazing was a leopard just before starting to hunt. Service was great stops for Coffee and lunch just on time. Net trip will be for all these brilliant birds and the Lions and maybe a rhino. Thans for everything and interesting explanations.

Akegera Stole my Heart - Wow! What an experience. My guide Bagena went above and beyond to make sure I had a great time. I told him I loved elephants. He asked other guides, searched places he was familiar the elephants roamed, and…we saw the elephants!! As a matter of fact we saw all of the big 5 and then some. Bagena was so knowledgeable about the wildlife. And, he stopped so I could shop a bit at the cultural arts & crafts shop. The experience was wonderful and since I couldn’t afford the gorilla trek it was the next best thing. Rwanda is such a beautiful country. The contrast between the red clay dirt and the greenery was breathtaking. I recommend it for sure.

Great Experience/Even Better Guide. - I was thoroughly impressed with this tour. The scenery was stunning and seeing this beautiful animals in their natural habitat was awesome. The lunch provided was near the lake with a gorgeous view. Taufique was an incredible tour guide he was professional, personable, and very courteous. The pick up from the hotel was prompt and the long drive seem less so, because of his demeanor and conversation. He would answer any and all questions regarding Akagera National Park and Rwanda. You can tell that he is passionate and cares about making sure that the visitor has a memorable experience. This is a one on one tour. It should be noted, that, I am a proud introvert and Taufique provide me with just enough space to allow me to absorb the experience at my pace. I left with a great experience. I would highly recommend him and this tour.

It was super! - It was super! The driver/guide and assistant are so nice and have keen eyes on hidden animals, which we novices cannot notice immediately. They guided us tirelessly until late. It is convenient that it is held from 1 person (my friend did that alone, and we followed his recommendation). I mean, it is convenient that each can book online without a money transfer among your group. Among the big 5, we managed to closely watch rhinos 🦏, buffalos 🦬, and an elephant 🐘! Just by 1-day tour! (The friend, who went alone before us, was even luckier to closely watch lions 🦁 in the 1-day tour!) We also closely encountered numerous zebras 🦓, hippos 🦛, Neil crocodiles 🐊, antelopes 🦌 (impalas, waterbucks, topis), wild bores 🐗, and baboons 🐒. We also saw, from some distances, a few zebras 🦒 and the body of an impala on a tree supposedly hung by a leopard 🐆. To conclude, I recommend this tour strongly!
