Leisurely day trip with engaging, knowledgeable guide - We only had one day to spend outside the city, so we hit the road! Snacks, music, scenery — all fantastic. Inside the park, our guide made sure we saw lions, giraffes, elephants, hippos, zebras and rhinos, but also knew a lot about birds, which was cool. The lakes make this park really special, and we were glad we went. Booking was professionally managed and guide was delightful.

One of the best - Shalom Safari was our tour gudie to the Akagera National Park. The staff are courteous, very relatable and professional. We were able to see msny different exotic animals you typical expect in a safari exercision. I have been to other country's safari and we were lucky to find the animals in Rwanda without much fuss unlike my past experience in other countries. Maybe it was luck. The boat ride on the lake (one of the largest lakes in Rwanda) was excellent as it gave us cool breath as it was a sunny day in Africa. Shalom Safari are professionals and you won't be disappointed with their service.
