One of the highlights of our trip. - This was one of the highlights of our three week trip to New Zealand. We'd booked a great lunch at the Duke of Marlborough then joined the sunset cruise. It was great to meet the young people working the boat and the Captain and everyone else were knowledgeable and entertaining. We had a really great trip, there was a bit of wind and we helped put the sails up and our eldest climbed the rigging. Would thoroughly recommend it, great way to spend a late afternoon and support a very worthwhile cause.

Authentic - This is a TRUE Tall Ship! Great experience and climbed the Mast ! The Crew was knowledgeable and let us assist in raising the sails AND let us get on a sailing angle that brought refreshing spray !!

Awesome experience - An awesome experience. The crew were great - friendly, knowledgable and professional - and the ship is amazing. We were lucky with the weather (not too calm, not too rough) and all of our group had a great time. Would definitely recommend this.

Tucker Thompson sailing. - Fantastic day on the water in this beautiful old sailing ship. The crew of 4 were all amazing and you could climb the rigging ( if you wanted to) help with hoisting the sails or just sit back and enjoy!! The ship is used to train kids to sail in the winter season.

Great trip ! - Thank you!! I wanted to go on this trip because it seemed unique - an old fashioned boat late in the day - and it was brilliant! You can get harnessed up and try and climb the rigging, or go right up the front to the end of the boat. Warning - you're not allowed to do this if you've had a glass of wine or a beer on board! You could also help to hoist the sails if you're feeling energetic. You might not see a sunset while on the boat, but you can wait and enjoy it on Russell. Thoroughly recommend this trip - it was really relaxing.

Living my dream - It was the highlight of our 10 weeks in New Zealand this year. Just 2 hours of bliss. Helping with the sails, coiling the ropes, even climbing high into the rigging from where I made some fantastic photos. Talking to the crew and even the captain, just great. Next time I would like to do a longer trip.
