Highlights
  • Cascade du Saut du Loup - Departure at 8:30 am towards the Gorges du Loup.

First stop at the Cascades du Saut du Loup and visit to the ruins of Créolières dating from the 5th century where you can see the church.

  • Castellane - We will stop in Castellane for a coffee break and visit the village (Provençal market on Wednesdays and Saturdays).
  • Gorges du Verdon - At Gorges du Verdon, a short trek awaits you which will take you to the edge of the Verdon in the heart of nature.

We will continue by the ridge road with its three panoramas and its cliffs overhanging the Verdon at more than 800 meters with the flight of vultures and sometimes climbers in their impressive performances.

  • La Palud - Lunch at La Palut, direction Moustiers-Sainte-Marie, a Provençal village straddling Provence next to fields of lavender in bloom from June to July.

  • Lake of Sainte-Croix - We will finish at Lac de St-Croix where you can go up the Verdon river aboard a pedal boat or a canoe, for the more athletic.

  • Moustiers Sainte-Marie - you can visit this magnificent village with its waterfalls that cross it and its earthenware shop made in Moustiers for 200 years, and for the bravest the visit of the chapel of Notre Dame de Beauvoir from the 11th century with a breathtaking panorama and above all an undeniable spiritual dimension because since the 11th century it has been customary to climb the 280 steps to make a wish

Extraordinary Countryside Adventure - Our time on this trip was spectacular. Alexis was friendly, knowledgeable, and a great guide! We enjoyed every stop from the cute towns, the restaurants, gorge, and the river and lake. It was a perfect way to see so much of the French countryside and get to spots that only the locals might know about. We would highly recommend the trip and Alexis.

Amazing experience! - Guillaume was a great driver and guide. He picked us up on time and brought us to amazing places to see during this 12 hour tour. We saw I believe 8 different stops during our trip which he was willing to customize to our wishes. We went with his recommendations which were all good. Stopped in a couple of small villages, in one of which we had an amazing lunch. Went out on a boat ride and were able to see amazing scenery. Luckily for us we were there during the time of the lavender fields blooming which is only a few short weeks at the end of June and early July. We were exhausted at the end of the trip but was well worth it. A lot of winding roads, up and down mountains so if you are prone to car sickness bring the appropriate medicine and you will be fine. Plenty of time outside of the vehicle so no real worries.

A great experience with an excellent tour guide - Our tour guide, Ben, was excellent . He was friendly, conscientious, knowledgeable and made great efforts to make the tour complete and beyond. The day of our tour had some rain . Despite this, Ben was able to modify the sites we visited to make it a great experience. He knows the places like the back of his hand. Ben is the tour guide I recommend.

Verdon is a must see - Alex was a great tour guide. He was very friendly and made sure we had a good time. The roads are very bad for those prone to car sickness. Alex was patient when a few people started feeling sick. He was even prepared with medication and water to help us. Verdon Gorge is a must see. The whole trip we got to see amazing sights and experience local culture.

Gorges of Verdon and Lavender buds - Wonderful trip. We only wish they wouldn't advertise lavender fields unless they are in full bloom. Our guide Alex was awesome and he really looked to find some for us and we saw the buds. It was about a week too early.

Recommend for those who really want to go Verdon but couldn't find any other affordable tour. - The guide was late 30 minutes. Also, he didn't even remember that we changed the pickup point and waited at the prior pickup point so we all walked to the point. Because of that, the tour delayed for 1 hour. We has little time in the Lake. Recommend to arrange the tour spots before your tour start.
