On ‘Beachcomber’ we offer private calm-water fishing charters with our ‘Broadwater Fishing Charter’ (for up to 8 guests) to spend a day fishing within the sheltered waterways of the Gold Coast’s Broadwater. We provide the rods, fishing gear and fishing tips as well as snacks, bottled drinking water & soft drinks so guests can keep busy fishing!
Departure from Howard Street Boat Ramp, Runaway Bay - We have a front access ladder so that we can pick up guests straight from the beach!

Additional Information
The capacious vessel ‘Beachcomber’ is sufficiently roomy for visitors to move freely, while simultaneously flexible enough for tranquil water fishing in the Broadwater of the Gold Coast.
A Private Fishing Adventure on ‘Beachcomber’ includes shelter from rain or sunshine for up to 8 Guests under an expanded roof. We also lower the side ‘clears’ when the wind accelerates to keep your fishing outing as snug as can be. Rest assured we have a marine toilet and suitable facilities for hand cleanliness aboard!
We offer free soft beverages and bottled water, along with snacks. Further, we also equip our Charter guests with a variety of fishing poles so that they can experiment different tactics to bag the ‘Catch of the Day!’.

Howard Street Boat Ramp pickup. We have a beach access ladder to welcome guests aboard from this location. Alternate pickup locations can be organised on request for Private Charters.

Must do Fishing trip!! - Andreas and Cooper were the best. So much fun fishing and chatting. Andreas was very knowledgeable. Cooper was very patient and helpful.

Best trip! - What an amazing day! We loved every minute. We caught fish, saw dolphins, turtles, we swam, we jumped and we laughed! Highly recommend!

Perfect day on the water - What a great day Andreas, Amanda and Cooper put on for our kids and family! Fun from start to end - fishing, swimming, dining, crabbing, laughing! Dolphins, dugongs, eagles and rays. Beautiful day out, professionally run, on a comfortable and clean boat. Look forward to our next trip. Highly recommend them.

Our son's first fishing charter - Very friendly, great day out with kids and an ideal opportunity to introduce them to the fishing world. We caught 72 fish of several species. Highly recommend. Thank you for a beautifully memorable day out. Thank you!

Amazing Day On The Water - Had a fantastic day on the water. Plenty of fish were caught and a lot of different species. Andreas and Cooper couldn't do enough to help everyone and the boat was very clean and comfortable. Would highly recommend and cannot wait to do it all again next time we are in QLD. Such an amazing experience and the hosts were extremely helpful from the time we booked until we left the charter boat.

A top day out for the whole group! - We went out as a group of 10 blokes as part of a Buch's weekend. We had a great time. We did some fishing off shore and some fishing in the broadwater. We were able to jump off the boat and swim and everyone caught a few fish. Andreas and Cooper were perfect hosts and the day was just a winner. It is a really nice sized and comfortable boat, you can't lose on this day, because it is just so nice to cruise around either the Broadwater or the Gold Coast coastline and enjoy the scenery whilst enjoying a few drinks with friends. A top day out.

10/10 will come again! - Absolute fantastic fishing experience! Captain and first mate were exceptional in service, experience, expertise, advice and friendliness!! Happy to report we've broken the Beachcombers largest fish record at a whopping 1.2m Shovel nose shark.
Will definitely be going with this charter again in the future highly recommend.

Fun family day fishing - Gold Coast - Had a great day on the Broadwater with Andreas and Amanda. Both were extremely patient and helpfull with a family of newbie fishermen. Boat was fast, sterdy with plenty of shade and room to move around. I strongly recommend this trip.
