Guide is born and raised in Tortuguero - This is a young local guy who grew up in this jungle. He knows every tree and especially every insect, mamal and bird. If you want to be surprised by his knowledge about the local ecosystem, plants, insects, history of the Tortuguero village and see a lot of cool and rare animals (we had 12 on the walking tour and 14 on the canoe tour), than Andrews is your man. Book this tour!! - My dad and I spent 3 hours on the most magical rainforest tour with Andrws! Andrws was so kind, very knowledgeable about the flora and the wildlife, patient with all of my dad's questions, and took us into some special isolated places where we could just sit quietly and just *be*. His enthusiasm for nature is contagious! So much so that we ended up booking a walking tour with him in the park for later that day. Highly recommend doing both! On the canoe tour, we saw 20+ species, which included many cool birds, 2 types of monkeys, iguanas, a blue morpho butterfly, a caiman, bats and so much more! Pro tip: Take the early morning tour. The animals are more active, especially if the weather's decent :)

Definitely recommended - Andrew is a really nice guy with great knowledge of Costa Rica's nature. It was a wonderful, relaxing ride with him through the national park and he showed us many different animals. Definitely recommended

Amazing!! - We did a night tour and morning canoe tour and both were amazing!!!! We saw so much wildlife, more than with other guides i think after talking to others. Andrws was so friendly, informative and enthusiastic we loved it! Would 100% recommend 😊

Amazing Canoe tour and night walk with Andrws - We had an amazing tour with Andrws and can really recommend it to everyone! We booked a canoe tour and the night walk and had both of them alone with him (we were 4 persons). It’s important for him to be a smaller group so everyone can have the same experience and doesn’t miss out on anything. He knows a lot about the animals we saw and was excited as we were to see them. He combined it with small anecdotes which made you remember the facts even more. You could notice that he loves his job and sharing his past experiences and knowledge. He was funny, friendly and a great guy to talk to. Not only about nature but about life in Costa Rica. Overall it was a very funny and interesting Tour, we couldn’t be happier!

Great experience, nicest guide - Was lucky to have Andrew as my tour guide for my tours in Tortuguero. Andrew is super nice and friendly. He was passionate to make sure we make the most of the tour and see plenty of animals. He's explanations were prefect for us, informative but not too lengthy and was happy to answer our questions and encouraged us to try and tell different species using his books. The first tour I did with him was the night tour which was stunning with tons of sightings and had a great vibe to it. We were a small group of 3 so it felt really personal and nice. I enjoyed the night tour so much I asked the booking office to also book Andrew for the next day Canoeing Tour. Again it was a great experience, we were a small group of 4 this time and Andrew made sure each got good sightings and heard his explanations despite the challenging of guiding while paddling a canoe. I highly recommend Andrew and his tours!!

An amazing night tour - We had a night tour with Andrws and it was amazing! He has a keen eye for every animal in the forest and an absolutely enormous pool of knowledge about flora and fauna. Singe I really wanted to see an armadillo, he put extra effort to find them and in the end succeeded! Other animals we found were porcupines, leaf insects, bullfrogs, two species of snakes, a sloth and many more. Definitely recommended!

5 stars for Andrws! - Excellent tour guide, wonderful knowledge of the history of tortuguero, but not overwhelming. We saw three camen, and various herons, howler monkeys and a turtle and it wasn’t even turtle season! Would strongly recommend. A polite, kind, helpful and generous host.

Best night walking tour in Tortuguero! - It was a wonderful experience. Andrws is a local and has a lot of knowledge about the area and the animals. He is very friendly, funny and takes time for you. We had a really nice tour where we saw a lot of animals like the red-eyed frog and multiple sloths!

Great tour to see many wild animals! - Great tour to see many wild animals! I had a really nice time on the canoe and Andrws is a super nice guide, he gave lots of information about the animals and answered all our questions! I recommend
