Amazing experience with an amazing guide! - Absolutely amazing!
Belencita was an amazing tour guide. She showed us how to use the snowshoe, took care of everyone’s speed, showed us how to light fire and got some sausages and hot drinks. She was really energetic and keen to help us get the entire experience. We just felt may be we could have spent more time in the wilderness.

If you can, do it ! - We spent two hours with Santi, our guide, walking in the snow west of Rovaniemi. We climb enough to have a view on the horizon, and that was an amazing one. Snow, animals' print, different type of tree, Santi was able to explain everything. In winter, walking in the snow in Finland is easy for everybody, but it's not the same to discover the Wilderness with a very good guide in a good company. We will all kept memories of this walk all our life.

Amazing snowshoe walk with Tyler - The meet-up was at the Wild about Lapland office. We were only 4 people including the guide, which was very nice. There, we were equipped with specific boots that fit the snowshoes and winter-proof overalls if needed. We drove for about 25min outside of Rovaniemi where we got an introduction to the snowshoes and then started walking. The walk took us up a little hill and then down to a teepee with an amazing view. There we made break to make an open fire and we had sausages, coffee and snacks. After the break it was a short walk back to the car. The activity took us about 3 hours in total. The whole walk was very nice, especially thanks to our guide, Tyler. He made the walk very special with little stories about Finnish nature and he made us feel very welcome and safe during the walk.

Snowshoeing with guide Gullie - We went on a lovely walk in the wilderness. We started off by walking over a bridge with a great view all around. Our guid Guille told us lots of interesting information about the environment we were walking through. He was very knowledgeable about the trees and animals in Finland. We then got to a lookout spot and had a great view. Guille helped to take photos and make sure we were safe when going down the stairs from the lookout. We then walked more and stopped to have a fire and a snack. Guille was very good at having an interesting conversation and provided good food. I would highly recommend Guille as a guide for anyone.

Highly recommend!!! - This is the best activity I have in Rovaniemi😆 The guide and his partner(yolk?) are kind and helpful. The view in the wood is breathtaking. Really recommend this trip and have a good experience through it.

The location was about 30... - The location was about 30 mins from the office, where we met. It was a nice, beginner-friendly hike, even kids could do it. We went to a tipi, where we had options, either stay there with the tour guide or go for a walk (I choose this). The forest is beautiful with the trees covered in fresh snow. I recommend wearing waterproof shoes and skiing pants because sometimes we sank deep into the snow. After we went back to the tipi, where the guide prepared hot chocolate/tea and sausages at the fire (they had vegetarian option too). The tour guide was very friendly, and also told us some interesting informations about Lapland and showed us how to set a campfire.

Amazing experience - It was simply beautiful. After a short ride we got to the spot. Ajda, our guide, helped us with the gear and then snowshoeing was on. It was a very pleasant hike to the little tent. Ajda encouraged us to explore around or just enjoy the view, while she set up fire, hot drinks and sausages. It was an awesome experience that I wouldn't mind doing again.

Fun and great trip - Bozo is a very knowledgeable and nice guide. We had a 2-3 hours snowshoe experience walking inside the forest and by the lake. The scene was extraordinarily beautiful in winter time. Bozo showed us how to wear snowshoes, how to make fire in forests and grill sausages. It was a great short fun trip!
