  After the guide provides an introduction to driving and safety protocols, you’ll embark on a snowmobile journey into the Arctic wilderness, in pursuit of the Northern Lights. During a break, you can warm up by a campfire with hot drinks and cookies while admiring the night sky.
  The Northern Lights (Aurora Borealis) is a natural phenomenon that is unpredictable. The guide will assess the conditions to enhance the chances of witnessing the lights, but please remember that sightings cannot be guaranteed.
  Children under 140cm will ride in a sled pulled by the guide’s snowmobile. A child over 140cm must sit on the snowmobile as a passenger behind the driver/guide, at an adult’s price.

Embark on a snowmobile adventure into the Arctic wilderness to stargaze and seek out the enchanting Aurora Borealis. Following essential safety instructions from your guide, immerse yourself in the authentic Lapland landscape and gaze up at the night sky. Prepare for moments of awe if the Aurora Borealis graces you with its presence. While the Northern Lights are an unpredictable natural wonder, your expert guide will enhance the likelihood of witnessing this spectacular display.

• Operated in Rovaniemi each year from end of November to beginning of April next year (weather permitting). The minimum number of participants for each activity is 2 adults. Single traveller could join an existing group, or choose to pay for 2 adults’ price.
• If there are two person per snowmobile, the driver and passenger could switch during the break of driving. For groups that have an odd number of participants, the single person will sit behind the guide, or share snowmobile with other single person in the same group (if it’s possible). Or driving a solo snowmobile by purchasing the ‘solo driving’.
• Shared snowmobile means two person share one snowmobile, solo driving means one person drive one snowmobile. Please note that the price is always for per person, not for snowmobiles.
• Snowmobile drivers are responsible for any damages caused to vehicles. Please refer to Sunny Safari indemnity clause for details.
• Children under 140cm will sit in a sledge pulled by the guide’s snowmobile. Additionally, we highly recommend that at least one adult sits with young children for safety reasons. A child over 140cm needs to sit on the snowmobile as a passenger behind the driver/guide with an adult’s price.
• The Northern Lights is an unpredictable natural phenomenon, there is no guarantee about seeing it. However, our professional experiences and forecasting allow higher chances for sightings. Please wear enough warm clothes and be prepared to stay outdoor for around 2 hours.
• The duration of this activity includes transfer, clothes changing and driving & safety instruction time. Thermal overalls, winter boots, helmets and balaclava will be provided.
