Chasing the Aurora with Chevo: An Unforgettable Experience - Our family just came from joining an aurora hunting adventure with Chevo, our guide/driver/photographer whose passion and energy made the night truly extraordinary. From 9pm to 2am, Chevo’s excitement never faltered—turning a cold, late-night outing into a thrilling, bucket-list-crossing experience. His enthusiasm was contagious, and it felt like a genuine hunt as he led us northeastbound to chase the northern lights, even outrunning pesky clouds that threatened to obscure our view. Chevo really took exceptional care of our group, especially when we found ourselves wading through deep snow. With only 8 people in the tour, the size was perfect—intimate enough for everyone to get ample turns taking pictures without any chaos. And speaking of pictures, Chevo’s photography skills are top notch! He knew all the best spots for viewing the northern lights, expertly positioning us to capture the magical lights perfectly. To top off the night, Chevo provided us with warm tea and sandwiches, which were a great addition and the perfect way to unwind after our adventure. After the tour, he took care to bring us back to our own accommodations, ensuring we got home safely. Since our family was the last group of the night, we even had the special treat of petting some shy but lovely reindeer—a delightful bonus that made the experience even more memorable. If you want a guide who combines expertise, care, and an infectious love for the chase, Chevo is absolutely the one—our family can’t recommend him enough! An amazing surprise!! - It was an amazing experience. The guides told us that we had few probabilies to see the northern lights, but they drived a lot of hours and we saw an small one aurora in Sweeden. We thought that we could only see that one, but they drive more and we saw an amazing show. Highly recommend, they know a lot and they do everything possible to help you see the auroras.

Awesome experience - What an unforgettable experience! It seemed complicated at first, with cloudy skies and low chances, but our guide, Chevo, never gave up. We traveled to the Swedish border and beyond until we found a clear spot where the aurora finally appeared. A once-in-a-lifetime moment.

Incredible Northern Lights Hunting Experience - I traveled all the way from Mexico to Rovaniemi with the dream of seeing the Northern Lights, and this tour exceeded all my expectations. Our guide was a true expert in aurora hunting; he didn’t stop until he found the perfect spot to witness this breathtaking natural spectacle. Thanks to his dedication, we not only saw the sky light up with dancing colors, but he also helped me capture a very special moment in a photo—my marriage proposal. Without a doubt, the trip was absolutely worth it. A once-in-a-lifetime experience that I would recommend to anyone dreaming of seeing the Northern Lights.

Clear Expectations and Awesome Results - Chevo prepared us for what to expect and even gave us the opportunity to get a full refund since he did not know if we would see the lights. And if we went, it would be a long night to hunt the lights down. In addition, the email before the trip prepared us for no bathrooms except nature. Chevo and Emin drove us into Sweden, and we ended up seeing beautiful lights. They made sure we had a good experience... from setting up pictures to stopping at the border of Sweden to take pictures. We definitely were happy we went with Chevo and Emin. Sounds like other companies canceled the night we went.

Unforgettable Aurora Hunting Experience! - We had an absolutely amazing experience on this aurora hunting tour! We were incredibly lucky to have a clear sky and witnessed breathtaking auroras covering 360 degrees of the sky—truly a once-in-a-lifetime sight! Chevo and Emin were fantastic—knowledgeable and friendly, which made the trip even more enjoyable. They shared interesting facts about the Northern Lights and helped us capture lots of incredible photos. The whole experience was well-organized, comfortable, and beyond expectations. We highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting—it’s an adventure you won’t forget! :)

Northern lights - Luckily, the air was closed, but even in this weather, we walked miles to find the open sky and finally saw it. We picked up at 8:30 p.m. They left our hotel at 4:00 a.m. The guides were really attentive. We had a really good experience with efforts to show us the good aura, as well as plenty of photo ops and treats. We’ll choose this tour again without thinking

Great Energy, Vibe, and Photos for Northern Lights - Chevos, Emil, and Gil are phenomenal and passionate tour guides. Flying from the US, I did 3 different tour companies when I first got to Rovaniemi, including Artic GM, then went with Lapin Tavias for the next 3 nights. They are hype and high energy, and put a lot of effort with the locations and find auroras. Most nights of clear skies, it was a ~1 hour drive, one night was 3.5 hours into Sweden through a snow storm when all other tours cancelled. Sure enough, they found a gap in the clouds and a great Aurora unfolded above us. It was the best one being there for 5 days until the following tonight, which was the best of the season! Sometimes they'll provide a campfire when the location is right, with hot drinks and sandwiches. They also put a lot of effort into the photos they take and upload them basically immediately. Appreciate the great time in Rovaniemi!

BEST EXPERIENCE EVER - It was a wonderful experience! I definitely recommend this agency 100%. The information was very clear from the beginning, all the details of the collection/meeting point are clear and fulfilled. Emin was very friendly and enthusiastic from the start, although he did not give us high expectations this made the surprise better taken because within the first hour of the tour, we were lucky to see them, as this factor is meteorological and varies from experience to experience, I must emphasize that Emin took advantage of all the time to enjoy them and worth every penny, with a lot of willingness to take many photos and these were available almost immediately. The van had wifi, it was always warm and quite comfortable and clean, on the other hand the snack was quite good.

Best Aurora Experience in Lapland - Great experience. Our guide, Chevo is knowledgeable, passionate and patient. He explained the science behind the auroras, how the peak occurs and different variations based on location and season. He took really good pictures. Also, picked/dropped us up from/at our hotel, provided snacks and a warm drink after the viewing. Thank you Chevo for making our evening a memorable one for a long time. You are the best. Take care.
