Breathtaking! - A really informative and fun experience! We learned a lot about the reindeer and it was a surprise to see how different all the reindeer were in terms of character. The reindeer that was pulling our sleight was very enthusiastic (we went a lot faster than I thought we would!) and had a fun personality. The snack we had afterwards was also tasty and gave us the opportunity to speak to the staff a but more about their experiences with the reindeer.

Rovaniemi, Finland Experience - Rovaniemi, Finland was absolutely wonderful in February. I would recommend using Rovaniemi, specifically Santa Claus Village (Arctic Circle) as your hub. We stayed in the cottages which were spacious and very nice. Everyone in Rovaniemi knows where Santa Claus Village is located. Some of the activities we enjoyed were half day experience at a local reindeer farm in Lapland, eating dinner in an igloo/riding snow scooters on a frozen lake, and eating dinner at the ArticSnow Hotel and Glass Igloos/Restaurant, which was an absolutely amazing experience. We stayed in a glass/heated igloo (Santa's Hotel Aurora) in Luosto (ski village), spectacular! If you're lucky you will see the Northern Lights. Excellent vantage point. We hired a driver to get us from Luosto to Rovaniemi. It was about an 1 1/2 hour ride. The airport is about 5 minutes from Santa Claus Village. Be sure and wear a good pair of boots with good traction.

A wonderful experience with very beautiful photos - Our guide Krista drove us into the countryside to visit a reindeer farmer family. After a nice introduction from the farmer on how to drive a reindeer sleigh, we went on a guided sleigh ride through the wonderful nature. After that, the reindeer were rewarded by us. Krista, our guide, was always there to take photos. In a tent hut, we were given a small typical snack by the farmer and given interesting information about reindeer and the farm. Since the family still had time for us, we also fed the reindeer in their enclosure. The family and Krista (with great photos) really gave us a wonderful morning. Thank you very much! Silke and Eike

Clear recommendation - The sleigh ride through the forest was incredibly fun. It started off quite leisurely. Then it got really fast for a short stretch. And then we were allowed to feed "our" reindeer. Really sweet! Over a cup of coffee or cocoa and a pancake, the farm owner told us a lot about the reindeer and how they are kept. The pick-up and return trip to the hotel was very professionally organized and went smoothly. The thermal overalls provided were very useful, also to keep the reindeer hair off our clothes. I would do this tour again any time.

Very nice experience with the Rennes - Everything was perfect. Pick up from our accommodation on time. Welcome in a small group of 6. The family welcomed us and explained many things about reindeer. Very nice walk and then we went for a snack. I highly recommend !

Perfect trip - We had a fantastic trip, followed by home-cooked food in a tepee-like tent. It was lovely to hear how well the animals are doing here.

Unique experience on local reindeer farm - The reindeer farm Tatuka is at a 45 minutes drive form Rovaniemi. We arrived at the end of the season (beginning of april) but we had luck and still a lot of snow. It was a sunny day and the ride was very nice. As it was the end of the tourism season, our familly was the only on the tour. So it was very relaxed. And the owners took their time to explain reindeer life. After the 2 km ride we could feed the reindeers which was also a very nice experience. The photografer took a lot of photos. We were back in Rovaniemi at 11h30.

Disappointed with photographers - We loved the reindeer farm and ride. I was disappointed photographers did not take a picture of us in the sled. They took ones of us feeding the reindeer at our request. Other people had many photos of them.
