Auttiköngäs serves as a perfect destination for day-trippers. Its key attraction is the towering Auttiköngäs Falls, which measure an impressive 16 meters. The surrounding forest is ancient, untouched by any form of organized logging, hence can be classified as primary or virgin. The landscape is diverse and rugged, with the large Könkäänvaara Hill peaking at 240 m. In comparison, Ispinävaara Hill reaches 190 m and although shorter, it presents a steeper climb.
