Tour Polo artico e villaggio babbo Natale - Our tour started late because no one was coming to pick us up and no one was answering the phone. Fortunately, our guide Dimitar finally arrived and saved our day. He was very kind and helpful, explained everything, we chatted, he took photos and videos, and we had a great lunch together. Thank you Dimitar! Greetings from Maya and Anna from Italy

Exceptional service - It was a magical experience meeting Santa and crossing the Arctic Circle. The best part of it was our guide, Reetta. She is an amazing human being. She's very friendly and a genuine soul. She definitely added to the wonderful experience we had. It was like touring the magical land with a kind fairy.

Surpassed all expectations! - Took the grand daughter plus parents to Lapland (Rovaniemi) for 3 nights. Thought the trip might be a little tacky but it was nothing more than amazing. Girls were in awe of the day spent at Santa’s village where we sat in an ice bar watched a performance by the elves in a huge igloo drove reindeer and huskies enjoyed a free lunch and popped into wigwams to warm up in front of log fires! The jet ski ride through the woods to Santa’s cabin was magical and the elves entertained the girls whilst the family in front left the cabin unnoticed by them. Santa had in his hand the letters written by the girls (they posted blank sheets in the uk) which really ‘sealed the deal’. Hotel a little dated but we were hardly in it and the only down side was that the evening buffet was a ‘little too grown up’ for their taste buds! Sledges were free to use and slopes very near by. We were able to take a ski lift up to the start of the longest sledge run in the Northern Hemisphere - very scary run down! Ingram’s staff did an amazing job keeping all the children entertained on the a/c and bus and the elves at the airport on arrival set the scene. An expensive experience but worth it as the memories are priceless.

Finding Santa and crossing the Arctic Circle - Driving our Hertz mini van one hour north from Golo Golo resort and the Ranau Zoo, passing herds of wonderful reindeer, leisurely crossing the road in several places created much joy. Signs were along roads and we easily found Santa Claus Holiday Village. Reception was well organized and the safari Desk well placed for the many fantasies to be reserved. We were booked to ride reindeer sleds, meet huskies and go for a sled ride, visit ice house, the North Pole post office and FIND SANTA! A short drive, two minutes to our chalet. We leased the superior and were not disappointed BRAND NEW, a mini kitchen, and all needed appointments. Slippers and robes -just like the Peninsula hotels. The Three Elves restaurant was our favorite! All staff were very ,helpful and kind. We recommend also visiting Santa Park. This was beautiful, indoors and offered so many wonderful exhibits. Elf school, ornament classes, Christmas cookie decorating, Elf stage show......DO NOT MISS. Christmas Wonderland ! My congratulations to Marko and Inga Jaasko, who began in 2011 and have become the Hiltons of the Santa hotel industry! Bravo !

Santa village should not be missed. - We drove from Ivalo to Rovaniemi for 3.5 hours to visit Santa Village, Rovaniemi church and ARTIKUM museum for the day in early october which was taxing driving 6-7 hours for return journey which we wanted be back to Ivalo to see the Aurora that night. Recommend to stay a night in Rovaniemi so that is not too rush. You can spend almost a day in Santa Village. Many activities were close and only re-open from mid November in winter. However, there is still the Husky farm and reindeer farm to visit though there is no sledge ride. Husky farm entrance was Euro 10 which is not worth the visit. The dogs were all caged up and they do not allow you to touch the dog in the open to take photographs. Do not miss the reindeer farm which the entrance was only euro 5 and you are given something to feed the reindeers. You can hold, touch and have as many close up shots as you like. There are many souvenir shops around to browse and also may choose which Santa claus you like to visit for photograph in the shop which you have to pay for the photo. Cross the artic circle line at the information centre area and meet santa claus. Highly recommend to visit during winter months where all activities are in full swing.

We didn’t have any... - We didn’t have any memorable experience as probably we were expecting a lot more. The lunch was very disappointing and we found that the tour was expensive for the value it gave.

Better late than never... - After our tour company forgot to pick us up from the hotel (we weren’t the only ones they were an hour late for a four hour tour and it was only after several phone calls our helpful hotel receptionist was able to track them down - try explaining this to two kids busting to see Santa...!) our driver, after a phone call from her boss suddenly became our tour guide. And while she was nice enough, she really had no idea. In short, it was a very poor performance and a woeful experience. So, if you take one thing away from all the choice you have, whatever you do, do not use this company. It could have been so much better honestly, the best thing you can do is take a taxi there and do it all yourself - at your own pace. The tour does not value add to the experience as everything in the village is easy to locate and sort - and it will save you a heap!! Hope this helps someone out there :-)
