Embark on a brief bicycle expedition through the scenic landscape of windmills for a unique local experience. A refreshing beverage and indigenous pastry from the hinterlands of Kinderdijk are part of the package, along with an optional visit to an organic cheese farm.
The plan includes a boat tour and admission to the official visitor windmill to ensure you don’t miss any highlights. You will be accompanied by a personal guide who is proficient in English or Spanish.

Why I recommend this tour - When I ran to our bikes but on the way got ran over by a bike I still have bruises but it was not Marcos fault

Great day with Marco and Kinderdike bike tour! - Had a wonderful time with Marco on a bike tour of the Kinderdijk area. Marco is very knowledgeable, kind, brought along wine and cheese and even somehow arranged for a beautiful sunny day. What more could you ask for? Highly recommend.

Very worth your time and money! - I had a private tour with Marco and let me tell you 100/10! As a solo female traveler, it is hard to feel comfortable and trusting HOWEVER Marco is incredible. Great with communication (even customized the tour time to better fit my schedule), was so kind and helpful! We had such a great time together and he is an AMAZING photographer! Would recommend this tour to anyone traveling in the Netherlands!

Exceeded Expectations - The Kinderdijk bike tour was probably the highlight of our recent 10-day tour of the Netherlands. The scenery was at times spectacular, the weather was perfect, the bikes were in excellent condition, and Marco was a kind, patient, knowledgeable guide, who was exceedingly generous with his time. This tour gives you a very different feel for the Netherlands than you can get in Amsterdam or other Dutch cities, and helps you to understand how critical hydrology and water management are to this low-lying society. It also provides you with a delightful lunch overlooking the Dutch countryside, and plenty of opportunities for seeing livestock and waterfowl. I highly recommend this tour!

MARCO's tour of Kinderdijk biking is INCREDIBLE. - We knew we would enjoy your Kinderdijk biking tour because we bike a lot and because we love Windmills, both of which we would be getting. What we " hoped" to get was a good tour guide....but who we got was an
incredible young man, MARCO! His home being there on Kinderdijk added
a personal passion to his informative guide of the areas. MARCO customizes his tours to the time allotted and the wishes of his clients, so we rode to a lot of windmills and never felt rushed. Photo Ops were @ perfect stopping sites. We even stopped for coffee and apple streusel cake.
MARCO'S personality & enthusiasm added total fun to an already WOW day.
We also appreciated his prompt replies to our emails prior to the tour.
The bikes were good for the tour...not e- bikes; not needed for the terrain.
No helmets.
We will definitely recommend MARCO and look forward to returning with
family.

Great tour for families - Marco was superb. We were traveling with 3 small children. He went out of his way to make sure we got to the right place, meeting us at the train station. In Kinderdijk he was able to find bikes that fit even the smallest one in our group. He tailored the tour to the kids, keeping everyone happy and just at the right speed. Marco lives in Kinderdijk, was knowledgeable of the area/history and seems to know all the locals, which made for a fun trip. Kids loved it. Definitely would recommend.

The best! - I had the best time! Marco was amazing! It was just me and him. He was an excellent guide and friend for the day. He made sure I got back for my return safely and he even offered to take pictures and make videos of me along the way. It was a beautiful experience and I highly recommend it. The bike ride and area is just beautiful and peaceful. It’s a must do and a must see if you like nature and riding bikes!

Heaven on earth - This tour was truly a pleasure. A very thoughtful and personalized journey that made Kinderdijk feel like home! The biking was so fun and allowed for a beautiful (almost spiritual) experience as we travelled through the Dutch countryside. Our tour guide Marco was an absolute joy and was the main reason the tour was so fantastic. The tour felt seamless and we were given excellent info regarding transportation that served us for the rest of our trip. Highly recommend.

Highly Recommended Experience! - Escape the busy city for an afternoon. This Dutch country side tour is very relaxing and you are surrounded by picture postcard scenery at nearly every turn. I went on an earlier morning trip which was nice to avoid the afternoon crowd that started to form as we were wrapping up our day. Marco is personable and truly wants you to get the most out of your experience. If I am every lucky enough to return to the Rotterdam area I would absolutely do this again.
