A relaxing soak . - Great experience ! Sat in the perfectly temperate water while enjoying the view of the lake . A nice outdoor shower also included to use after. I wish I would have booked other pools as well .

Worth the Price and Relaxing. We would go back. - This hot pool/spa is great! We had a very relaxing time. The pools were clean and temperatures ranged from cold to very hot so we could find what we were after. The little cafe had great, fresh offerings and the shop offered tourist items as well as necessities for the hot pools. Booking was a little confusing over which area we would like, but happy with the decision made, which was the Deluxe Lake Spa that was family friendly, but had the pools we were after and the children that were there were not intrusive. The heated recliners were an unexpected luxury. The locker rooms had lockers and private showers that were not fancy, but just what is needed.

Just what we needed - We booked in towards the end of a holiday in NZ where we had done a heap of walking. It was just what we needed. Easy to find, helpful staff and beautiful pools of hot water to soak in. All we needed was bathers, everything else was supplied. 5 different hot pools, a cold plunge pool, heated couches.....just a really great relax

Relaxing spa - Relaxing time at the Polynesian Spa! We pre booked the “Couples Double Dipper Lake View” which included 45 mins in a private soaking pool, complimentary drinks and access to all the various public pools after. We arrived for our check in time. Scanned in & followed the gentleman over. Our lake view dipper was behind a locked door. Upon entering you have a private small soaking pool looking out to the lake with two privacy walls on each side as well as a mini area to leave your items/a rinse off shower. The water was nice & hot. The space you are given is 100% private with the door closed & the side walls. It was a nice space to ourselves. After our session ended (there’s a light on the wall that goes red when your time is up so no one has to interfere) we stopped in the cafe for a fruit smoothie before trying out the public pools. The colors of the mineral waters is very pretty & relaxing to the body. It was a rainy day but the pools were still very hot & relaxing. I am glad we got to enjoy the private spa beforehand as the pools got very busy with crowds. Everyone in the pools were polite & didn’t overcrowd your space but having the private pool to yourself beforehand was a pleasure! Beautiful gift shop & cafe as well! We stocked up on mud products & volcanic body products before leaving! Lots of multi pack bundles for savings for tourists 🌋

Wonderful range of spa pools with views of the lake - We attended the spa on a very wet day and didn’t think we would be there that long but ended up spending most of the day. We had a private lake view pool which was lovely and used the deluxe spa pools. They were all very clean, well signed and the waters ranged from warm to hot including alkali for skin and acid for aches and muscles. There’s also a cold plunge pool and shower to help detox. The changing rooms were spacious with towels provided. It was a great experience and ne I would recommend.

Fantastic, relaxing, rejuvenating - Had a great relax in the alkaline pool first, then a front & back massage package with hot mud scrub, followed by an essenial oils massage. Came out feeling brand new. Beautiful ginger tea in a relaxing lounge afterwards, View over the sulphur lake. showers avaliable with essential minerals body wash & shampoo. Just luxury. I returned 2 days later for several hrs soak in the priests pool acidic water, & alkaline pools. There is a Cafe which caters extra for your massage expierences @ extra cost. The Cafe its self i found quite expensive. Generally, if / when i come back to visit NZ, I will definitely make a visit to Rotorua & the Polynesian spa pools Geothermal hot springs.

So Relaxing! - We booked two spa treatments and got the deluxe lake spa portion included. We arrived early and enjoyed the pools before our treatments, which was really nice. The facilities are great, and the staff is very friendly and helpful. I received the Manuka Honey Massage which was so wonderful! My husband did the Aix Hydrotherapy Massage and he really enjoyed that as well. If we go to Rotorua again, we'll definitely be going back to the Polynesian Spa to try other treatments.

Lovely opportunity to relax - Excellent opportunity to relax and enjoy the fabulous pools! Love the set up and cleanliness of the area. Great customer service too. Just a shame that a large group arrived who didn’t read or appreciate the fact that the area is a QUIET ZONE and that the use of mobile phones was not allowed!

Private Skyview pool - We loved the private sky view pool area, the pool was hot and the area relaxing. It was nice feeling that we could spend as long as we wanted in the main pool areas after our booking. It is very peaceful as there are no children in most pools.
