It’s the warm reception when you arrive and when you leave, the unforeseen delights, the upbeat tunes, discovering fairy doors, strolling under a kiwifruit vine tunnel that’s been there for 80 years, petting a gentle giant rabbit as you amble around, experiencing an unexpected burst of bubbles overhead, exploring our top-tier native garden, the illuminating shows, peaceful areas contrasted by sections of vibrant techno lights; an adventure of varying experiences. It’s about standing on massive volcanic rocks and taking in the sight of a 2,000 year old Rata stump, out of which water flows into a pond while smoke emerges from within. No wonder we often have guests visit more than three times, as each experience offers something new and leaves people feeling uplifted!
