Great experience! - This is definitely NOT an easy hike (husband opted to wait for us on a bench halfway) but the powerful falls and taking a dip in the pool at the bottom was well worth it! The forest is amazing - perfectly quiet at times and a lot of “screeching” at other times- and bizarre looking crabs! Definitely take a walking stick available at the trail beginning and just laugh at the sign that says it should take 45 minutes each way. Thanks to Hubert who was knowledgeable, encouraging and very kind. Loved the reward of plantain chips!

Highlight of our 7 day cruise! We love Dominica!! - We had Leonard all to ourselves as we hiked to the beautiful falls. He took his time with us and showed us many interesting things in the rainforest. We loved the exhilarating swim in the Ti'tou Gorge after the strenuous hike to the falls. Our tour should have ended there but Leonard went out of his way to take us to some other interesting sites and then joined us for lunch in Rosseau before driving us back to our cruise ship. We learned a lot about this beautiful island and plan to come back soon. We will definitely reach out to Leonard for more tours of the island when we do!

100% worth it! - This was an amazing experience!! Leonard was truly the perfect guide for us. He did not push us but was encouraging when needed. The hike was definitely difficult for our group of 4, decent shape, ages 58, 59, 60 and 61. All 4 of us fell at some point lol. It was quite muddy and hot and humid just like it should be in a rain forest!! We even got to swim in the icy water at the top of the hike! The swim at Titou gorge was one of the most exhilarating and memorable things I have ever done!!! I may return to Dominica just to repeat the swim at Titou Gorge with a GoPro this time.

Tito Gorge and Falls with Driver Curvin - We walked off the pier from our cruise ship and bought a three hour tour with our driver Curvin to see Titou Gorge, Falls, Bubling Sulver spring, and other interesting sites. Curvin was an excellent driver and entertained us with stories of island history and interesting facts. At the gorge, he walked up with us, introduced us to the guides, showed us where to change, and watched our possessions while we swam in the gorge. Be sure to ask for him by name if taking this tour. You won't be disappointed.

Our tour guide, Leonard,... - Our tour guide, Leonard, was amazing!
He was very encouraging throughout the hike, but this hike kicked our butts. We couldn't make it all the way to the waterfall. I would highly suggest that only avid hikers attempt this hike due to terrain and high temperature/humidity.
Up next, Leonard took us to Fresh Water Lake and gave us some background information on how the island uses hydroelectricity for a power source.
We also made a few stops along the way where he picked fresh fruit for us to try. My daughter loved both the guava and star fruit.
Titou Gorge was beautiful and amazing. We welcomed the cold water after the waterfall hike attempt.
We finished off the day by going to the Botanical Garden, Bamboo House, and a lookout point to see the entire city of Roseau.
I would suggest this company and Leonard to everyone.

Great Day, Great Guide, Great Company! - The hike to Middleham Falls was a little challenging mostly due to the rain. Leonard was a fabulous guide, who was extremely knowledgeable in all things Dominica! He assisted me during difficult parts of the hike, showing patience and care. He went above and beyond to ensure we had the best day. We were treated to see other locations on the island, which included a sulphur-boiling spring, and a visit to the botanical gardens. Both were great and unexpected. During our tour, Leonard showed us different fruits that are grown on the island, some we got to try. Hubert the owner of the company was very responsive to all my questions before booking and after. The swim in Titou Gorge was great! Leonard treated us to some local treats/snacks. The whole experience gave us a great feel for the island in the short period we had. Would 100% Recommend this company for all your tours in Dominica.

Great Guide, deceptive hike description. Do your research - Difficult to rate the experience. Our guide was fantastic. He deserves 5 stars, but the description of the Middleham Falls hike doesn't really go into enough detail about the difficulty. You need to read the notes from the trip operator which have one short sentence about this not being and easy hike. Do a Google search on "Is Middleham Falls hike not easy". I wish I would've but the Viator tour desciption made it sound like a moderate trail through nature and "a breeze". We fell in the mud so much we skipped the Titou Gorge portion. The hike is extremely difficult and should only be attempted by skilled trail hikers. Climbing over rocks, slipping in treacherous mud and bouldering skills should be expected. It's a rain forest so you'll experience rain and slippery mud. You'll need a hiking stick and deep lug hiking shoes. The trail is at least 1 1/2 hours each way. Don't let anyone tell you different. Again, expect to fall several times in the slippery mud. Our guide saved us from falling more or being severely injured. He was great. They say the trail is moderate but that's by Dominica standards because there are other trails that Dominca rates difficult which we are told are multi day and would be expert only in the USA. There are many other waterfalls experiences that are easier. Do your research and thoroughly read the reviews and you'll find a better option.
