Book now! - Overall experience was 1000/10 just beyond all expectations. I did what ended up being a solo hike to Middleham falls and Titou Gorge and safe (personally and tour wise) the whole time. My guide was beyond experienced (he’s hiked all over the world personally and also been a tour guide for several well known agencies). We started early and beat the crowds to the falls and somehow timed it so I also missed the crowds at the gorge. I love my experience so much as a family I booked the whale watching and was blown away yet again with the professionalism of staff. We will be back in October and plan to book more tours (Waitikubuli national trial 14 day hike and morne diablotin). We have family from the island who also recommended the agency to us so you know when the locals say someone is legit it’s the truth! Book immediately and without reservation or hesitation y’all!

Amazing hike & guide - Really amazing hike with Antoine, who is incredibly knowledgeable about botany and all the local plants. Recommend bringing good hiking shoes and a rain jacket, and note that this hike can be challenging, but very worth it.

Fantastic! - This was a highlight of our travels! We met our guide (Hubert from Waitukubuli Tours) very close to our cruise port and he drove us out and back. It was wonderful to have a local and knowledgeable guide to share information about history, culture, flora and fauna. The Middleham Falls hike is a little over 3 miles round trip. We found it to be moderately strenuous- the trail is clear but dynamic with lots of elevation change with many steep steps and some uneven footing. The waterfall at the end is breathtaking and we saw only a few other hikers on the trail. There are water crossings and slippery tree roots, stones, and logs. We opted for hiking shoes which gave good traction but got very wet very quickly. The trail could be done in hiking sandals (like Chacos) or some sort of water shoe, but with so many slippery areas there is risk of falls and injuries in lighter weight footwear. Overall the hike will feel harder for those of us who may be a little out of shape, or not used to the hot humid climate. Drinking plenty of cold water, and taking a quick breather after a steep stair climb helped us acclimate and accomplish the small challenges of the climb. Our guide was kind and patient, gauging our fitness levels and pointing out hazards along the way. He is very knowledgeable about local flora and fauna- we learned about the botany of the area and heard and caught glimpses of local mammals and beautiful hummingbirds and parrots! We hiked in both sunshine and in torrential pouring rain. It was wonderful. Visiting TiTou Gorge after our hike was a great way to cool off and have a unique experience of a short swim up the deep gorge to a waterfall. PFD’s are available on site for flotation, as well as some local vendors selling souvenirs. The water was chilly but pleasant, and there were handholds and ropes to help navigate the quick moving current. The scenery is unique and memorable. If we are ever able to return to Dominica we would not hesitate to go on more tours with the Waitukubuli Tours company, and highly recommend their services. We were well taken care of by them and were very comfortable all day long.

One of the best tours ever! - The best tour of our trip. Very strenuous, and not for someone who is not somewhat fit and used to hiking. I handled it, at almost 70 years old, but I walk several miles each day. Our tour guide was a wonderful man who is a botanist and seasoned guide and hiker. Antoine made the tour very memorable. Because it’s one of the more strenuous hikes the trail was almost empty, making it even more enjoyable. Highly recommend!

Amazing trip. Will remember this forever - We had a fantastic trip in Dominica exploring the waterfalls, and a gorge. Leonard was absolutely amazing—attentive, conscientious, and ready to support us throughout the hike. He spent plenty of time showing us beautiful spots and was clearly proud to share his wonderful country with us. Leonard’s kindness and knowledge made the experience truly special; he described the local plants, pointed out wildlife we would never have noticed, and shared fascinating insights about the rainforest. The swim in the gorge was especially unique and was a top experience. It was a wonderful trip, and we would definitely recommend this company to anyone visiting Dominica.

Perfect Middleham Falls - A great morning hike to Middleham falls. Antoine is an expert botanist and experienced hiker with a lifetime of Dominica experience. This hike could be tough for a novice not in shape with the wrong shoes on a rainy day. Some sections are steep with use of hands required but it's not far. The reward is one of the finest waterfalls I have ever seen. We also floated the gorge, a unique but short experience..
