Please arrive 10 minutes early. Your guide will meet you in Piazza Barberini - in front of the Fontana del Tritone. A representative will be there holding a sign with ''The Tour Guy'' on it.

Great experience - Fiona
Wonderful and personable guide. She was very knowledgeable and we learned a lot of Roman history from information shared. We enjoyed her humor and ability to connect with the group.

Very unique, did not... - Very unique, did not happen at night though so we were rescheduled for a different day and time. Tour guide Max was great and gave us lots of recommendations for Rome and Florence

Awesome tour - What a great tour - we picked the night tour for the extra eerie experience. Fiona was an amazing tour guide and shared great information.. My wife was hesitant, but after the tour she was truly amazed. She claimed it was one of the best tours on our trip... I would recommend this tour as an experience not to be missed and amazed..

Interesting early Christian history, highly recommended - Very cool tour of a unique history of Rome's early Christians and the Cappuccin Monks. First visit is to Cappuccin Monastery/church with the incredible bone displays of the 3000+ friars who have died 500 years ago. Super unique. Then off to Catacombs of Priscilla which has first Christian paintings from ~260 AD. Our 3 kids (age 9, 11, 13) also found it pretty fascinating. Being in the cool underground catacombs was also a nice break from the heat!! Fiona was a great guide

Exploring the underground world of Ancient Rome - We enjoyed the VIP Rome Catacombs Night Tour with Capuchin Crypts. Our guide, Davide was very knowledgable and enthusiastic about the topic as well as about Roman history, art, and culture. We learned a lot about the Capuchin friars and their spiritual practices. It was very interesting to see the bone art in the crypts and it helped to have the background that Davide provided beforehand to understand and appreciate this unique practice. The tour of the Pricilla Catacombs was also very interesting and informative.

Francisco, at the catacombs, was delightful! - Our tour guide at the catacombs, Francisco, was super - knowledgeable and friendly and entertaining. I would recommend him for sure!

Odd and spiritual expericence. - The capuchin crypts were incredibly odd and have to be seen to be believed. Essentially sculpture from human bones. The catacombs were excellent and the PHD student guide was very good, she knew her subject very well and some of what we saw was astonishing (the first Christian art was profound). Really enjoyed this tour, the only downside was Fiona the Australian guide who was a little bit patronising, but you can't have it all.

Wasted time and money - First, it was supposed to be a night tour and was rescheduled to midday. Had I not checked my email, we would have never known. Thankfully it did not conflict with other tours we had scheduled for that day. The tour was rushed and after seeing the Capuchin Crypts, the group was split in two and we were packed into minivans. Two people had to sit up front with the driver- very uncomfortable. This tour was a waste of time and money. We would have been better off going to these sites on our own and paying for entry at the door. Very disappointing!
We’ve taken several Get Your Guide tours in the past and had felt that their guides & tours were top notch. This tour and the guide did not live up to that expectation.
