Learning to See, Not Just Look - I joined this semi-private tour alone and ended up rediscovering how to look at art. Our guide encouraged us to notice colors, symmetry, and intention. Her comparisons to modern design were brilliant; they made Renaissance concepts suddenly relatable. At one point, a security guard asked our group to move aside, and Our guide used the pause to answer questions. That adaptability showed how experienced she is. I left feeling educated but also emotionally lighter.

Art Brought to Life One Hall at a Time - Our guide managed to make centuries of art feel fresh. She pointed out humor hidden in the frescoes and symbolism in the smallest carvings. I appreciated that she didn’t rush us from gallery to gallery. We paused often, which gave me time to really look. There was a brief mix-up with another group at the entrance, but Our guide resolved it instantly with patience. Once inside, everything flowed perfectly. Her enthusiasm was genuine, and by the end, everyone was smiling like old friends.

Learning Without Feeling Lectured - I’m not usually one for guided tours, but Our guide changed my mind. She had the rare ability to teach without sounding like a teacher. Every stop came with a short, vivid story—why a statue was moved, how pigments were mixed, what the artists argued about. There were small pauses to rest and reflect, which I appreciated. The group was tiny, and everyone seemed equally amazed. By the end, I realized I’d spent two hours smiling, which says everything.

Quiet Morning Among Masterpieces - Stepping into the Vatican Museums before the big crowds arrive felt like a privilege. Dani guided our small group through silent corridors where even our footsteps seemed respectful. Her explanations blended storytelling and scholarship—she pointed out tiny details in the frescoes that most visitors would miss. The lighting in the early hours made everything glow softly. Dani’s calm voice matched the atmosphere, and when we entered the Sistine Chapel, she simply whispered a few words and let us stand there in awe. It was one of those rare travel moments when you forget the world outside.

Really Nice - My husband and I visited Rome last week and had a great experience with Trip In Art tours… We had a private 8 person guided educational experience going through the Vatican Museum in St. Peter’s... this will be the second time we have come to Italy and with the assistance of the agency had a fantastic experience… I would recommend Trip In Art to anyone who’s going to Rome. Give them a try – you will not be disappointed

Love this tour - I booked the tour of the Vatican and it was super. Easy to find your tour guide at the large steps outside of the Vatican museum. It’s worth booking this 3 hour tour to get a personalised visit to St. Peter’s and the Vatican museum. There are 30k visitors per day passing through St. Peter’s and the Vatican so a knowledgeable guide helps you navigate the huge space and brings you to the highlights. There were only 5 on our tour so a very personal experience.

We did not go in ahead of the mass amount of people as advertised. There was absolutely no reason to pay the money. - They do not get you in before the Vatican opens. They do not provide good headsets so you cannot hear the guid (whom had a very thick and difficult to understand accent). They had us wait for a long time in an area far from the entrance.

Canceled tour, no communication from operator, wasted day and missed opportunity to see the Vatican - If I could give a zero star review, I would. Our guide did not show up, and we did not receive any notification that our tour was canceled. The tour was scheduled for 2 p.m.; the special notes for the tour instructed us to show up a half hour early. We did. At 2 p.m., I began calling the tour operator. No answer after multiple tries, so I left a voice mail. At 2:10 p.m., I logged on to Viator and noticed that a refund request had been submitted by the tour operator at 2:04 p.m. We still have not received a communication from the tour operator about the cancelation. If you would like a tour that you can rely on and not waste over a half hour of your time waiting for a tour guide who does not show up, not to mention a whole day of your trip since this was the main event of our day, do not book this tour. Because we booked this tour on the last day of our trip to Rome and it was scheduled to occur in the afternoon, we missed out on seeing the Vatican. Unacceptable. Viator should not offer and tacitly endorse such poor customer service. The rest of our trip to Rome was amazing; it is a shame to miss out on a "big ticket" item like the Vatican because you made the mistake of relying on an unreliable tour operator.
