- We are sorry to inform you that this tour is NOT wheelchair accessible. Vatican Museums provide wheelchairs free of charge in the main lobby. You can easily pick one up after you enter, before starting your own independent visit. If you are looking for a guided tour with wheelchair access, we recommend booking our private tours so a guide can lead you through the alternate routes
- All students should have their student identity card in order to get the discount for the admission fee.

- St. Peter’s Basilica is closed during the following times: Wednesdays: 8:00 AM-12:00 PM, December 24 and 31 During these times, the tour will visit other parts of the museums
- St. Peter’s Basilica and the Sistine Chapel close without notice on rare occasions; if this happens, your guide will take you to tour the Vatican Museums and/or the Sistine Chapel/St Peter’s Basilica/Raphael Rooms instead

Wonderful experience - It was excellent, well organised and our guide Antonio was very good at explaining everything, including the importance of staying together. His description of the interior and Roman history was well researched and he obviously had a lot of experience of working within the busy Vatican environment which enabled us to efficiently view all of the museum, Sistine chapel and Basilica within the time allotted and without feeling overwhelmed by the crowds.

Wonderful experience! - We loved this tour—she did a great job moving us through a crowd and educating us on what we were looking at, with such interesting pieces that we would’ve missed had we gone on our own! She also took care to make sure everyone’s interests and wants were achieved—for me it was being able to walk through the Holy Door.

Vatican tour - Very good tour group. Rudy was a good tour guide. Get to the meeting place and they take you around bypassing alot of lines. Would advice using the group. Read all the details if the tour you pick is the one that best suits you.

It was very difficult to... - It was very difficult to understand our guide. The headset sound was not clear and his accent made it difficult to understand. I told him and tried to get closer to him to understand but it was difficult. I wish we had just gotten a self guided tour and saved the money.

The tour guide talked a... - The tour guide talked a lot and too fast. Didn’t really understand much of what she was saying. She zoomed through most of the Vatican and was hard to take pictures. Just felt rushed.

Tour ok, sound poor. Couldn’t understand - Getting in was quick and easy. Tour guide Rudy was very nice and knowledgeable. It was very challenging to use the “whisper” headset. Sound quality was poor and could not understand the tour guide. The ear piece would not stay on and I had to hold it to my ear. I gave up for much of it opting to take photos and look around myself.

Wouldn’t recommend- date Oct 4 2025 - The tour guide and process was fine. We spent so much time in the Museum (2.5 hours) that we had little to no time in the Sistine Chapel, then to find out they closed the tunnel to St. Peter’s. As such, our guide ended the tour and said we were on our own for St. Peter’s and that we would have to leave and walk around. The museum section took so long, that we lost opportunities.
the skip the line was the best part of the tour and there are many options with vendors on the street to pay them €50 or so for skip the line access. This tour was very expensive and not worth it.
In the end, we paid more money to get access
Or fast pass to St. Peter’s!
This was a 3 hour tour and most of it was in the museum. I would not recommend.
Our tour guide was good but didn’t read the group, at least 6+ ppl kept walking away to look at other things as was so much talking, and the headsets Horrible! Most of the time, I listened to other guides and took off the headset. Not comfortable at all.

This tour sucks!!!!! - Where do I begin. We were on the Sep. 15, 2025, 10:15am tour. Our guide did not speak English well. She had a very difficult time keeping the group together. A complete waste of $200 dollars. Now for the Vatican. They don't regulate the number per hour, or pure day so you are literally being herded together, shoulder to shoulder with no time to see any of the statuary, paintings or tapestry. Picture leaving an NFL stadium and you get the picture. It's not air-conditioned or for that matter, have adequate ventilation. DON'T DO THIS TOUR!!!! It's terrible!!!!!
