A great trip into the history of Rome - We had a great guide. Massimo was absolutely brilliant. It was such an interesting trip. We really got so much knowledge from Massimo and felt that we walked away with a true understanding of real Roman history. Great trip.

A great tour with a respectful and personable guide. - The thing I like about these small groups is that you have the chance to change things up, ask questions, and personalise your experience. Our guide. Dario, had the same music taste as us so as well as a great tour, we got all sorts of hints and recommendations for things specifically of interest to us. Catacombs - We loved the tour and our guide Andy was amazing. Extremely knowledgeable, fun and really knew how to run a tour. My 3 kids between ages 18 and 24 loved it, said best tour they have been on.

The BEST Small Group Tour Company - We Did 5 Tours with Liv - I honestly cannot recommend LivTours enough. My husband and I recently visited Rome for a week, and we did five LivTours (Ancient Catacombs, Early Entry Vatican Museums and Sistine Chapel, Colosseum & Roman Forum, Pompei and Tivoli with Villa D'Este & Hadrian's Villa). Each tour was outstanding, and the guides were incredible. We learned *so much* from every tour; all the guides were impressive experts in their subject. The idea of following a tour guide holding a flag, in a group of 30+ people, wearing a headset -- it gives me hives. What I absolutely loved about LivTours is that they guarantee no more than six attendees per tour, so the experience is very intimate and allows for a ton of interaction with the guides and other group members. Only one of our tours had six people, and we were lucky enough to have the amazing guides in Pompei and Tivoli all to ourselves! I find the value for your money on these tours to be phenomenal as well, and I really appreciate LivTours very flexible cancellation policy. Communication from the company was excellent as well; we had a few changes to itinerary due to construction/changed attraction opening hours, and we were informed immediately and clearly. Their free mobile app was super useful in helping me staying organized, too. If you are looking for a small group, incisively educational, high value tour, look no more. I will be booking LivTours from now on in every city where they are available.

Thank you Andy! - We had a fun time on our Catacombs tour! It was very interesting to hear about why the Catacombs existed and all of the history. Despite the weather being awful with pouring rain and strong winds, our guide Andy kept us entertained both at and in between sites, and provided recommendations afterwards as well! It was our first semi-private tour and the family that toured with us were lovely! Would 100% recommend.
