Making pasta was awesome! - Toni and Valentina was our guides and they did an amazing job at introducing and educating us on making pasta. The family deli was also a great part of the tour, our daughter really enjoyed entertaining the youngest of the guest. She is currently going to school here in Rome for her Master’s degree. The class was a great experience and our host were outstanding! GN

Excellent Experience and Highly Recommend - Toni was absolutely amazing, lots of energy and great info, very knowledgeable and insightful with the foods that we tried and which was also delicious. Our pasta making class was fun, and much more than we expected and exceeded our expectations. She was patient, and took her time and was pleasant and responsive. This is our third tour with Eating Europe and will definitely be back soon! Thank you! Tony Denise Peter and Rosanna! Xoxo. PS. Thanks again for shopping info!!

Book this right now!! - This was the best of 2 tours! We got to taste the best foods in Rome. Suppli, gelato, meat and cheese (literally the best we’ve tasted in Italy, then we went to an amazing restaurant, made pasta and then the restaurant cooked it. Could not have been better! Wish we would have started our time in Rome with this, then we would have known where all the amazing food was!! David was absolutely fantastic!! Can’t wait to do it again! Don’t hesitate! Just book it!

Fettuccini and Fun - Host Walter was excellent and informative on foods, way it should be made and paired. Out of six tours this week, this was the best.

Outstanding experience, great value! - Arianna was an excellent guide, very knowledgeable, gracious and patient! She went above and beyond, taking us to a variety of carefully selected food venues. Definitely not a touristy lineup, but quality places where the locals go. Not only were all the food and wine choices delicious, but the cooking class was outstanding as well. We learned how to make pasta, then enjoyed our delicious meal together. Great value for the money, and we highly recommend this tour and guide!

A must do! - This was an excellent tour! Our guide, Arianna, was fantastic. She was so warm, engaging and extremely knowledgeable of the food culture. It was more than just the foods, but also their traditions and thinking and ideas about food. It was absolutely fascinating and I learned so much that has truly enriched my time in Rome. We had a great time tasting different foods and making pasta was a blast (who knew it was so simple?!). I love the combo tour of the Trastevere food and pasta making class--I chose it to save time, but it worked really well and I would absolutely do it again. I had high expectations going in, but Arianna and the activity way exceeded them!

Best food tour we have ever taken!! - This was by far our favorite food tour of our whole Europe trip. We booked a food tour in Aix-en-Provence through our cruise line, and it was incredibly expensive yet far less exciting with far less food!! We also took a “cooking class” in Positano that cost us an arm and a leg and it was not nearly as informative or fun as this tour and class was!!! Walter, our tour guide, was brilliant. All the places we stopped to eat were delicious and we really did learn a lot about the area’s cuisine! Definitely show up hungry. We ate a ton and had so so much fun!! My kids said this was their favorite day of our 13 day trip around Europe.

Wonderful guide - We had a wonderful time. My husband and I have been on a lot of food tours and this one was definitely the best. Arianna was a fantastic guide, knowledgeable, warm and just charming. The highlight was the pasta making session. My husband, who doesn’t even boil water, can’t wait to get home and make some pasta with me. Arianna also gave us some great recommendations for bars and restaurants near our hotel and they were great.

So much fun eating and learning - What a great introduction to Roman food with Francesca, a wonderful guide. We thoroughly enjoyed all the tastings at the small shops (meat and cheese, pork, suppli, etc). The pasta-making was so much fun for everyone, even for those of us who have done it before. We had plenty of time to make it from scratch, roll it, cut it (using different tools), and then eat it, and wow was it delicious. The kids loved it.
