Explore the wonders of Ancient Rome by riding a Segway on this 3-hour journey, which will lead you past remarkable landmarks such as the Colosseum, Roman Forum, and Circus Maximus. On this self-balancing motor-driven scooter, you’ll be accompanied by a guide as you navigate through Rome’s ruins that date back 2000 years, while learning about their historical significance. Pause for picture-taking at notable locations and try out Rome’s own version of a lie detector - the Mouth of Truth (Bocca della Verità)! This tour comprises an immersive Virtual Reality session that will transport you to the heart of ancient Rome.
This intimate group tour caters to a maximum of eight participants, ensuring your guide can provide personalized interaction and guidance.
- This Tour is provided in English
- • All riders must be at least 16 years old, in accordance with Italian law. If you have children under 16 in your group, they will not be able to participate, and will not be eligible for a refund.
- Riders must have the ability to make motions such as climbing and descending stairs without assistance.
- It is recommended to wear comfortable shoes. Please do not carry large bags whilst on the Segway.
- Please bring proof of identification with your confirmation voucher
- Guests under 18 must be accompanied by an adult
- All participants must weigh at least 90lbs (40kgs).

Your tour meets at our office, located at Via dei Delfini 35/36, 00186 Rome. We are located about 150 meters from Piazza Venezia (a 5 minute walk) and 1.5 km from the Colosseum (approximately a 15 minute walk). Please arrive 15 minutes prior to tour departure.

Fabulous, fun way to experience Rome - Wow!! What a fun amazing experience, my teen loved it as did I. Our guide was fantastic, very knowledgeable, made plenty of time for questions. Great audio set up and could hear everything clearly despite the busy streets of Rome. We saw all the big sites and had plenty of time for photos. I have mobility challenges and this was a great way to see Rome. We could not recommend highly enough.

Great way to see this amazing City - Fantastic way to see Rome. Took about 10 minutes to get familiar with the Segway and then we were off. Excellent tour guide, made us very relaxed and really interesting and informative. Highly recommend

See Rome on a Segway! - I have been to Rome before and wanted a different experience. The Segway tour was amazing with Elena! We visited some sites that gave us fantastic views and while new, she was very knowledgable and very thoughtful and attentive about making sure we could manoeuvre the Segway … totally recommend!

Brilliant 3 hour Segway ! - We met at the shop/office and checked in quickly. There were 3 couples plus a tour guide trainee who joined us for the experience.
We all linked our earphone’s with the tour guide so we could hear him clearly whilst in motion.
After a safety introduction and a couple of videos on the iPad we all practiced in a quiet square next to the meeting point.
Once the guide was confident we were all competent we were off!
With the guide stopping at any points of interest including his vast knowledge of the area.
We visited Trajan Forum, Imperial Forum, Colosseum, Arch of Constantine, Circus Maximus to name just a few.
Half way through the trip it started to rain but fair play to company each segway came with a poncho, an added bonus!
We returned to the shop/ office a tad wet but it did not dampen our spirits. I can confidently say that everyone returned on a high as it was a Fantastic 3 hour experience.

Rome on Wheels! - This was a super way to take in the city in a fun, fast manner. None of us had ridden a Segway before, but we all felt comfortable within minutes and had a blast! Our guide was friendly and helpful.
