Wonderful experience, very informative, history with a dash of humour! - The team was very helpful and the guide was extremely knowledgable, while adding (more than) a dash of humour along the way! We got to cover some of the most important and relevant sights of Rome, in about 120 minutes - something that we would not have been able to do on our own! Thanks to Savio, Helena and team!

An above par experience - My girlfriend, her mom, and I went with Salvo on his tour through Rome. It was much better than expected. Salvo went out of his way to show us an amazing tour of the city, filled with plenty of history, beautiful sights, and great humor. As first time visitors to the country I would highly recommend his outfit to everyone. Thanks again Salvo. We really appreciated the hospitality.

A great way to experience Rome - We did this tour on our first day in Rome. Figured it was a good way to get a feel for the city and a lay of the land. It did not disappoint. We drove all over the city past most attractions you'd expect to see. The Colosseum, Pantheon, Trevi Fountain, etc...Places we would go inside and visit later during our vacation. Our guide Salvo was fantastic. He's like the mayor of Rome! Knows everyone and just about everything about the city. Very engaging and fun!

Perfect Tour with Very Knowledgeable Guide - I just got back from my trip and out of all the tours we did in Rome, this was one of my favorites. Salvo, our tour guide is Italian and that really makes the difference on a tour like this. Since our tour group was small, Salvo added a bonus stop inside the Basilica of Saint Mary of Minerva, and we learned about the history of the church, but also the presepi tradition. Salvo also took us to probably the best location (I saw) for a photo of the colosseum. I think him being local really made the difference because it was clear just how familiar he was with both the history and navigation of the city. This was the first tour I did in Rome and I noticed every tour I took thereafter, touched on some of the many facts Salvo covered on his tour. So it was nice to have that point of reference while visiting the city and learning about Ancient Rome. I also was thrilled one of our stops took us to Largo di Torre Argentina, where Julius Caesar was assassinated. I planned this trip to be in Rome for the Ides of March because the city puts on a reenactment of his assassination, but I didn’t realize when booking, we’d make a stop at this site. So again, you really get your monies worth! I did this tour with my mom who is in her 60s, and she was a bit jet lagged, but the tour itself is very laid back. If you’re traveling with the elderly, or people not physically fit, this tour is very easy because you’re mostly being driven around in a golf cart. The cart is narrow enough to fit through the narrow streets of Rome, which means it’s less walking you have to do to see notable attractions. And like advertised, you end the tour with really good gelato! One last thing, I’d be remised to not mention that Salvo was kind enough to offer my mother and I a ride back to our hotel since it wasn’t far from the meet up location for the tour itself. It was so above and beyond and we really appreciated it, especially with my mother being older. Just book them! They're great and have many tour options.

They took us to so many local churches and hidden gems. Mike and Salvo had us hysterically laughing the entire time. Not as described - Read the reviews online and thought the experience would be great for our first time in Rome. My family of 3 joined the tour along with another (two related) family of 9 with small children. The other family was late to the meeting spot and after a few minutes we had to go find them and pick them up. This caused a delay of approximately 15 minutes. Once all were onboard we proceeded to the first stop where my wife had to exit the tour as her back was able to sustain the bumpy ride throughout the streets. Likened to Mr. Toads wild ride! This was no fault of the tour company but be warned it is bumpy. My son and I continued with the tour and unfortunately the children continually screamed ciao to everyone we passed. It was funny at first but having small children screaming in your ear after an hour became unpleasant. We went to a few more stops which provided good information and history. Once we arrived to the park/overlook approximately 90 minutes into the tour, the tour guide/owner was more concerned with the family and their needs, and he asked them what they would like to do next leaving us out of the conversation and making the final decision that they and the kids were hungry. Our next and final stop was a restaurant in the market square. Two places were skipped to accommodate their request for food. The “included Gelato” was never mentioned and the tour ended early dropping all of us in the market square and not returning to the original departure point as stated in the tour description. We didn’t visit the Pantheon or the Chiesa Di Santa Maria Sopra as stated in the tour information. My son and I were point toward the street and told that’s where we can get a taxi. The two fathers apologized for the situation. Unfortunately, this made me feel like we were discounted and missed out on the full tour benefits that we thought we signed up for.
