Lots of food lots of... - Lots of food lots of wine. Very good tour. Our tour guide Lisa was very knowledgeable about the restaurants and the area. Would definitely recommend.

Do this on the front end... - Do this on the front end of your trip, get a better understanding of the food and culture, learn a lot more than just food and see new corners the usual path misses! Sad I did it last as I would definitely revisit the restaurants we hit!

Unique experience.... - Unique experience. Different foods. Clelia is the best. My wife and I had a great time.
We spent more than 3 hours walking, chatting, and eating. At each place we had a chance to sit, sample new foods, drink wine and learn from Clelia in a way where we never felt rushed.

Claire knows food! - Claire was a great tour guide! She knew food and her way around Rome. She took the time to explain the area, local people the family own restaurants and origins of the food. The food the wine was so good.

Roma Yummy! - Great tastes and fun to learn about the areas, especially Campo di Fiori and the Jewish Ghetto. The Roman pizza was incredible and the two pastas were delcious!

We always do food tours... - We always do food tours when we travel because we enjoy tasting the local cuisine and learning the history of the city or country. When we arrived, we were told there would be two groups, and we were initially placed in one before being moved to another. Our guide — I don’t recall her name — was knowledgeable and shared interesting information.
However, I didn’t feel great about the group we ended up in. It felt like we were placed with a much older crowd, and the pace was very slow, including one person with a cane. It honestly felt more like I was with my parents’ peers rather than my own. I think the groups could have been separated a bit better to match pace and energy levels.
Make sure to request an age group if you can.
