Circus Maximus - The Circus Maximus was the largest chariot stadium in ancient Rome. The 600 meter long stadium was located between the Palatine and Aventine hill and could accommodate as many as 150,000 spectators. The first construction of Circus Maximus dates back to the 6th century BC, after which several emperors had the stadium expanded or rebuilt after major fires.

Teatro di Marcello - Teatro di Marcello is the only theater of the three ones of ancient Rome preserved and still standing. It was started by Julius Caesar and completed in 11 BC by Augustus who dedicated it to his nephew Marcellus, son of his sister Octavia.
It was inaugurated in 13 BC and taken as a model for the construction of the Colosseum. -
