In reality, there is more! The Imperial Forums were part of the complex of buildings of the ancient city, the central area of Rome. In the XX century the area was completely reorganized divinding the famous Roman Forum from the Imperial Forum. Well, we will discover this unknown part during this tour.
The Museum shows us all the findings of the area of the Imperial Forum, giving us the opportunity to discuss and learn about this other area, its function and how it developed during the centuries.

The Imperial Forums exist as a portion of the Roman Forum’s network, only becoming separate in recent times due to urban restructuring of the location. The Museum presents all artifacts unearthed within the vicinity of the Imperial Forum, creating a platform to explore and understand Rome’s history, the geographical significance of the area, its purpose, and the evolutionary process it underwent following the collapse of the Roman Empire.
