Skip the lines a must, and Alessandro was a treat - Alessandro was great. Having a small group was a stark contrast to the large guided tours that I saw. They had headphones just to hear the guide. Alessandro made it a very personal experience that even my children enjoyed. He had a passion for the history, art, and culture which made for a great experience. It didn't seem long at all except when my feet told me that they were done.
Skipping the lines was another very necessary aspect for us with our limited time and patience. These lines were ridiculous. But Alessandro just went straight to the front with us.

Fantastic private tour. - Awesome tour. Our guide Siriki met ua on time with coordination from Livtours. Siriki was very knowledgeable and interacted well with my 12 year old. He made the tour enjoyable and educational. I highly recommend Livtours and in particular Siriki if you can get him! It was spring break with enormous lines, I would not have been able to see so much without the pre-paid, private tour.

Amazing experience with an excellent tour guide. - This was for for 40th birthday, my husband booked this private tour of the colosseum with underground access. Our tour guide Maria Helena was amazing, knowledgeable, and provided us an excellent historical overview as she is an experienced archeologist. I could not have asked for anything better. Highly recommend and ask for Maria!

Fantastic tour with excellent guide! - Marco was fantastic at bringing the Colosseum and Roman Forum to life for our family! We loved his vivid descriptions, sense of humor, and ability to relate what we were seeing to modern day. His knowledge was truly impressive - there was not a question he could not answer. The Colosseum in particular was quite crowded and we felt very fortunate to be able to see it in a private group. We had a wonderful time and would highly recommend both Marco and LivTours!

Perfect private tour of the forum / colosseum - We kicked off our week in Rome with a private tour of the forum and colosseum with Marco and it was amazing!! He catered everything to my son and was flexible while keeping us moving and on time. Very informative and interesting, highly recommend!

Rosaria's Trip Through Ancient Rome - Our tour was perfectly suited to the Colosseum and Roman Forum. Our tour guide was extremely detailed in her explanations and answered our questions swiftly and expertly. With her enthusiasm and kindness, she made our 3-hour tour pass in a whirl! She was always patient with us (especially with our many stops to take photos) and gave us a new perspective on Roman culture. The skip-the-line passes were just the cherry on top. If we were to come back to Rome, we would be elated to have her once again!

Sara and Liv Tour Appreciation! - We took this tour with four adults and three teenagers. The teens were engaged the entire time thanks to Sara’s deep historical knowledge and storytelling! She was so nice and patient and answered all of our questions. We were also late due to rains and I creased traffic. The tour company checked on us multiple times to ensure we made it there safely and were connected with Sara. We can’t imagine having gone to this venue without a guide like Sara.
