One of the best ones in Italy - Vinchenzo was excellent. He has an amazing historical background and is awesome in storytelling. He engaged everyone. He was meticulous in details and yet kept the interest alive. Truly an awesome guide. Be careful with the wine tasting. Very generous pours 😉. Excellent wine tasting experience. Highly recommended. ❤️

Great trip to Pompeii - What a wonderful day! This was very well organized for the entire day. Travel on and off the train and bus was very smooth. Cellie was our tour guide and was very passionate about Pompeii. She provided fantastic information and tidbits about the site. The wine tasting and lunch were both delicious. The food and wine were plentiful. This was a very nice day.

Best tour ever - The whole experience was excellent. Thanks to the friendly and professional leadership of Cat, getting to our train and bus through crowded platforms was smooth and stress free. Felicia, our guide in Pompeii, was outstanding. She has historical and technical knowledge of Pompeii gained through her experience as a restorer, excavator, and scholar of Pompeii. She was authoritative, but it was her passion and interest in people that was captivating and inspiring. Just the best.

Great tour of Pompei! - Really great experience! Last year we has a brief visit to Pompei and it made us want to go back for more! This tour delivered! Tour guide was excellent and very knowledgable! Very well organized and good transportation to and from Pompei and the winery. I think everyone on the tour enjoyed Pompei, but the wine, food and socializing took it to the next level! Enjoyed the train trip back, nice to sit back and enjoy the return trip! One of many highlight of this trip to Italy!

Fantastic visit to Pompeii - This was an absolutely fabulous experience! My wife and I were visiting Rome for four nights and we decided to get out of the city on the Sunday, so we booked this in advance.
The meet point at Roma Terminus station was easy to find and the guides were lovely. The train journey was a good experience, never travelled at 200mph on the ground before! The guide Fabio handled all the tickets, making for a really relaxing start to the day.
On arrival at Napoli Centrale station we were split into smaller groups with dedicated guides. Our guide was Felicia, who has a background as an art conservator with years of experience working at Pompei capacity before she became a guide. She was an absolute joy to spend time with me with, her knowledge, passion and humour made the two hours that we spent in the archeological park one of the most profound experiences.
After leaving the park Felicia escorted us to Bosco de Medici vineyard for a delicious light lunch and the opportunity to taste their wonderful organic wines. The wine tasting is perhaps more commercially focused, light on tasting notes, but very enjoyable. We chose to have some wine shipped home, arriving Monday. To be frank, the wine is not cheap, but I feel it offers good value. After lunch we took a short guided tour of some archeological finds within the winery with one of the staff, a very funny young man whose name escapes me.
The bus then took us back to the station, where we met up with the rest of the group for the return by train, again supervised by Fabio.
We plan to bring the kids to visit Pompeii and hope to arrange a private tour with Felicia. The calibre of staff provided by Italiatours seems to be high and the overall experience gave exceptional value for money.

Great Pompeii Experience - Our tour of Pompeii with lunch at a winery was excellent. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable of the history of Pompeii in both preceding the volcanic eruption and following the eruption. The lunch at the winery was better than expected and it also gave us a chance to mingle with the other tourists.

Nice afternoon in Pompeii. - The fast train over was great. The lunch was great and the tour of Pompeii was great. Only complaint was the train on the way back had a few teachers with their young students (10-12 year olds.) with zero control over the kids and zero discipline. Every adult on that car was ready to jump off. We all ended up riding the last part out in the restroom area with the glass door closed between us and the school kids. There were at least 8 of us in there That’s not the yours fault but it did put an ugly end to a beautiful day. Maybe they can get all the tickets together so we are not scattered over all the train cars.
