Great tour - Knowledgeable guide who was engaging and very sweet. He knew his stuff and spoke English beautifully

Great tour and tour guide! - Our guide was great! He was very nice and knew the area well! He was great with our kids which helped a lot!

Not as expected - So the guide was great but I was surprised that she was a free walk group. We is paid only on tips yet we paid for the tour and would have tipped her but since it was her only income we ended up giving her extra. There seemed to be a disconnect here. Also tour indicated that endcwould be where we begun but that was not the case. We ended far away from starting point. For us it was ok because we she gave us a recommendation for a great dinner. But it was 2 miles from our starting point. I had messaged the tour contact weeks before with a question and never received a response. Very unusual with Viator as I havectaken many tours with them.

Avoid - Tour operator kept changing important details to the last moment. The tour itself was under 2 hours, not 3 hours as advertised. The guide wasn’t particularly knowledgeable and seemed disengaged.

Good intentions; complete... - Good intentions; complete failure. Tour originally scheduled for 3:30. I arrived at 2:45. I left at 4 since no one showed up. Tour guide claims to have sent message rescheduling tour to 5:30. I never saw that message. Don’t know where his message was sent, and I regret not seeing it. I have two more tours scheduled thru Viator: Vatican and Pompeii. I hope those tours have better results. This one was a bust.

Unreliable! - This was booked for my client Sharon Silver. Sharon was picked up at her hotel and driven to Piazza Venezia. She arrived 30 minutes early, she waited and waited and waited. Tour guide never showed up. To say she was disappointed is an understatement. We are requesting a refund.
