A great way to hear about the brutal history of the city - Elvira our tour guide was great, very knowledgeable and a good host. The tour was very interesting and a nice way to see some areas of the city that you might not otherwise see. The tour was full of stories of crimes and the brutal history of the city with a few ghost thrown in. Come expecting an entertaining tour with some great stories, but don’t expect to see any ghosts!

An interesting evening of stories about the brutal history of the city - Elvira our tour guide was great, very knowledgeable and a good host. Really interesting - Bryan shared really interesting and horrible tales - it's no wonder there are so many ghosts in Rome!. We all used the diviner and I think we did connect to the spirit world. Bryan was a font of information and I now know why The Vatican is a city state. The meeting point was easy to find and it was a great way to spend an evening touring Rome.

Great tour and stories - Bryan was AMAZING. The best tour I’ve ever had. My boyfriend and I were intrigued, and understood everything he said which is sometimes a little difficult with other tour guides. We got to know him, the stories, and more about Rome. Would recommend this tour to all my friends.

Not as described/promised - This may be a negative review but I want to start by saying that our tour guide Clara was lovely so this isn't a reflection on her behaviour at all.
I was so hyped about this tour as I love learning about hauntings, imagining the darker side of history with the belief if we don't learn, we are destined to repeat.
But this tour had around 5 stories - it started promising with a story about Master Dita and his love of being an executioner, a female poisoner, a churcb that now uses bones as decoration and where people were burned was pretty much all the stories we received.
There was no story told about the hauntings/ghosts. There was no walking around into a serial killers house. There were no dowsing rods.
Honestly, it wasn't worth the time or money for 5 stories, long walks and very limited information.
Personally, if I return to Rome, I'd be looking to another walking tour company.
