Great walking tour - Great history and walk! We really enjoyed doing this with our children — 11 and 13. Lots of history of ancient to modern Rome as well as history of Jews in Rome.

Excellent walking tour of Jewish Rome - Paul was a terrific guide. As a history professor, his knowledge of the modern day Jewish experience and the recent as well as ancient history was excellent. This tour was more than the Jewish ghetto area - it encompassed ancient Roman sites as well as the Vittorio Emanuele II monument and Mussolini's headquarters. I've been to Rome several time, including living there as a student and I learned quite a bit. Paul took his time and answered all our questions and we even got a kosher gelato toward the end of the tour! Highly recommended!

An excellent tour and a knowledgable guide - The tour was excellent, and the guide was very knowledgable. I love the major sights in Rome but wanted to get away from the more touristy areas and learn about the history of the Jews in Rome, the treatment of the Jews over the years, and the modern day area of what used to be Jewish ghetto. The tour and the tour leader did all those things and more. Some thought there was too much lecturing and not enough time in the actual Jewish ghetto and that is not wrong, but I really enjoyed it all.

Awesome tour of the old Jewish ghetto and - The tour was wonderful. It gave us a different perspective on all that we had seen and learned touring in Rome. We were particularly lucky that we were only the 2 of us so it was a ”private” tour. I highly recommend this tour.

Wonderful Jewish ghetto walking tour++ with a very informed, professional and pleasant guide - We signed up for a small group tour, and it turned out to be a private tour, which was lucky for us. It gave us the opportunity to ask a multitude of questions. Daniel, our guide, was incredibly well-reserved in all thing Italian history, and he ably fielded our queries on a wide an deep range of topics as we walked, well beyond the scope of the tour. I would recommend him highly. The program was comprehensive and it gave us a great context for the rest of our touring and learning in Italy. And it was very fun — maybe a bit hot but nothing that an Aperol Spritz couldn’t help!

Great Tour - We enjoyed this informative tour. It is a pretty part of Rome with some confronting facts. We had a lovely gelato on Tiber Island. After the tour you can take a stroll on the other side of the Tiber. Our tour guide was Angela and she was incredibly knowledgeable and helpful with suggestions of interesting places to lookout for while in Rome.

Worth it! - The guide was an American.. which was surprising but made the tour easier without a language barrier. He was knowledgeable and appropriately sober in the right spots of learning about some of the tragedies that this community experienced over hundreds of years.

Theft - They tried to change the time of the tour from 10am to 2pm the day before tour but my daughters train was at 4pm so we couldn't go. they charged my card anyway? That's pretty much like stealing.
