Incredible tour with a fascinating historian guide - This tour was beyond our expectations and made our trip to Rome! There were just six of us, skipping the lines and early morning access was hugely appreciated.
Most of all, we loved that Valentina is not just a guide but a historian with a love for her city and its wealth of history. She made the Colosseum and Forum come alive with a wealth of details.
I wish we could give her 10 stars for her knowledge, enthusiasm, and kindness.

Grazie Mille - We are in love… With Rome, with Debora (our tour guide), and honestly with Liv Tours. After a lot of research I booked the “semi-private tour” with Liv Tours specifically because of the 6-people max that it is advertised. Liv Tours not only delivered the best experience but they have the best & most knowledgeable tour guides I have ever had. They are not tour guides, like Debora for instance, they are masters in the history of the sites… I highly recommend Liv Tours and especially Debbie - our biggest gratitude to all we have learned today. Best Tour of “Amphitheatrum Flavium” and Ancient Rome - My husband and I had a truly wonderful experience touring the Colosseum and ancient Rome with Stefano! His genuine passion for history and the thoughtful, engaging way he explained each site made everything feel alive in a way we didn’t expect. He was warm, patient, funny and incredibly attentive, tailoring the tour to our interests and making sure we never felt rushed at any stop. His stories and anecdotes of Ancient times to the present added real depth and meaning to what we were seeing, turning the day into something truly special. We honestly couldn’t recommend Stefano more—he made our visit to Rome unforgettable!

Most Knowledgable and Engaging Tour - Sissy is an amazing tour guide and extraordinarily knowledgeable is Roman History. We admired her focus keeping the group moving on time (like herding cats sometimes.....sorry) and engaged in relevant conversation. She is wonderful.

AMAZING!! - Beth is AMAZING, is our second tour guided by her ( the 1st one was the Vatican in 2022) and now the Coliseum. Her knowledge about history and the love for Rome is remarkable. I can listen her for hours without getting bored.
We are so lucky to have her again… we hope to comeback again and have her as our guide when the passage of the Emperor inside the coliseum is open to the public. Thank you Beth!
