An AMAZING day at the colosseum! - Veronica was very friendly and knowledgeable, and engaged with our two boys (7 and 9) very well. They learned so much from this tour, but as it was done in a very clever way with games and through conversation, they didnt realise it was a learning day! Veronica was very patient and kind, and even our 15 year old and my husband and i thoroughly enjoyed the tour and learned a lot! I would HIGHLY recommend this tour to a family looking for a private tour, it really was SUPER!

5 star guide for families - We are a family of 4 (our daughters aged 9 & 11). We booked Mariaclaudia for the Colosseum with Arena and Roman Forum Tour - it was the best tour we had ever had! Mariaclaudia is simply lovely, super fun and highly engaging with the girls…especially with her amazing history-telling skills. She also created fun competition between children vs parents. The girls were hooked for 2.5 hours! Even the adults learnt new things from this tour. Thank you for making this tour such a memorable one for us. We highly recommend Mariaclaudia to our friends and those with younger children who are keen to engage a guide for the Colosseum! Mariaclaudia deserved more than 5 stars!🥰

Fantastic kids tours of Rome - We did 3 tours with Maria Claudia tours in August 2024 and we were so lucky to have Maria Claudia herself doing our tours! We chose Maria Claudia as I had read so many wonderful reviews on the Italy with Kids Facebook group run by Marta Correale and I am very glad we booked her. She was an absolute joy to be around and her knowledge of Romes history plus the colosseum and the Vatican was fantastic. All 3 tours were truly amazing! The kids absolutely loved the game style touring and were very engaged during the tours as they were so much fun! They still talk about things they learned on the tours with Maria Claudia and they have their little prizes hanging on their bedroom walls. Amazing Rome experience with Mariaclaudia - Mariaclaudia was absolutely fantastic, so knowledgeable and brilliant at keeping the kids entertained. She brought the Colosseum and Vatican to life with engaging stories, fun activities, and skip-the-line tickets. The kids loved learning about gladiators and Michelangelo through games and storytelling. Affordable, stress-free, and perfectly tailored for all ages, this tour was the highlight of our Roman adventure! I shopped around for different tour options, and found her to be the most cost effective for our needs, but after having experienced these highlights with her, I would choose her for my family, regardless of the cost. I can’t recommend her enough.

Colosseum tour with kids - Maria Claudia was excellent she was able to capture the children of assorted ages attention and teach them about the collision and Roman history. We all enjoyed this tour highly recommend

Colosseum - family fun tour! - I had read so many lovely things about these tours, and as the Colosseum was one of the main attractions during our days in Rome, we wanted to make the most of it.
Mariaclaudia was amazing! We had a private tour (2 adults and 2 boys, 10 and 13y), and as soon as we met up with her outside the fun began! Even queuing (although not for long) was informative with Mariaclaudia! The tour was interactive and fun, which we all enjoyed and I would highly recommend her to anyone! We might only ever get one visit to the Colosseum so let’s make it a great one! Next time we will book a different tour with Mariaclaudia!

Colloseum tour - Mariaclaudio is incredible! We recently took a Colosseum tour with her, and her communication was excellent from the moment we booked. The tour itself was fantastic; we learned so much about Roman history and the Colosseum (the Flavian Amphitheater) thanks to Maria. She kept the kids engaged with fun, point-based games on her tablet, even giving points for asking questions, which made them competitive and involved. My older child (11 yrs) who typically isn’t a fan of history, asked me at the end of the day if I could find a history teacher like Maria for him when we get home. That says a lot about how impactful the tour was. Thank you, Mariaclaudio, for an amazing experience!

Book IT! - What a great experience! Simona was fantastic with the kids and we all really enjoyed it! We took the 4:30PM tour and found it to be less crowded. Before meeting with Simona, she sent us our tickets in advanced and we did the Roman forum on our own in advance.
Great took/experience. Book it!
