Highlights
  • RomeOperaConcerts - There are few things more beautiful than Christmas in Rome, and you can make your sacred holiday in the Eternal City even more unforgettable with a special Christmas Concert.

The musical program includes classics of Italian opera (arias and duets), high points from the romantic piano repertoire, some Neapolitan songs and, of course, the greatest Christmas songs. The programme will dazzle you with celebrated out takes from classic opera works by greats such as Puccini and Verdi as well as from the catalogues of piano virtuosos like Liszt and Chopin.

Our Christmas concerts are truly a unique experience because our hall allows only 80 people and the audience feel like taking part to a private concert. Performers are just feet from the spectators.

Immediately after the impressive concert, you will have the opportunity to meet the artists drinking Prosecco in the pleasant setting of a free Christmas Aperitivo, a small reception to round off your evening in a quintessentially Italian way.

Additional Information

Make your festive vacation one to remember with our exclusive Christmas Concert!

The concert lineup features Italian opera masterpieces (arias and duets) from renowned maestros like Puccini and Verdi, classics of romantic virtuoso piano from the likes of Liszt and Chopin, traditional Neapolitan songs along with the best-loved Christmas melodies.

We’re a unique concert season designed for tourists and led by professionals: pianist Giovanni Velluti and tenor Alessandro Fantini.

We provide performances only with piano backing because that’s the standard in all major theatres globally - it’s either an orchestra or a piano, no quartets!

Our venue has space for only 80 guests, making everyone feel as if they are part of an intimate private concert.

Post-concert, seize the chance to socialize with the performers over a glass of Prosecco in the charming ambiance of a complimentary Christmas Aperitivo.

The concert is located at St. Andrews of Scotland, on Via Venti Settembre 7, just a stone’s throw away from the Quirinale Palace.

  • Seats are assigned by the theater box office and will not be known in advance of the performance date
  • Operates in all weather conditions, please dress appropriately

Fantastic opera concert - Fantastic Opera Concert The two opera singers (a soprano and a tenor) as well as the pianist were simply top-notch. Not only did they sing the arias, but they also acted them out like in an actual opera. Very professional. At the end of the concert we were given glasses of champagne and dessert. It was well worth the visit and the price was very affordable for such an enjoyable evening.

Must see in Rome - When in Rome, do not miss this intimate, warm and amazing concert by very accomplished opera singers, a soprano and a tenor, accompanied by a talented and accomplished pianist. Many famous arias and duets are presented along with a few piano solos. The venue is in the chapel of St. Andrews Church of Scotland. All seats are good, but sit in the front for a personal experience. The wine served at the end and the opportunity to chat with the professionals. is a special treat. Be there.

A great intro to opera for those unfamiliar with it - My friend & who are inexperienced Americans with respect to opera went to this & found it to be a delightful experience. We heard a variety of selections of French & Italian operas both solo as well as duets. I personally was super impressed by the duets. If you’re unfamiliar with opera but want to experience it done by professionals without having to see a full performance, this is a great choice!

Amazing Opera Show in a Private Setting - Prosecco served - It was the first time I went to an Opera show and it was fabulous, I absolutely loved it. I cried, I laughed, I smiled. They served a small bite and Prosecco at the end which complimented the show. Alessandro, Giovanni and Federica had a strong connection. I highly recommend this Opera show when in Rome.

Warm and family contest - The Opera selected songs were so pleasant from Puccini , verdi, Chopin and several Napolitan songs. The artists Federica gibilisco a great soprano and Mauro de Santis a vibrant tenor enriched the performance with their humans value.
