We had a great bumpy cycle - We had a great bumpy cycle down the Appian Way. Chris was an excellent guide. We now feel like we understand much more about how the water got into Rome. The catacombs were amazing, Father Peter talked to us from a faith perspective. Only criticism was that the aperitivo was very basic but kept us going for an hour

Ancient parks and structures - great way to spend a lovely afternoon in Rome. - Our tour guide Sadaf was so lovely - she explained all about the Appian Way and the Aqueducts and got us safely from the starting location near the Forum through many different areas of the city and parks. It was a great way to spend an afternoon in Rome, ending with a stop at a local cafe for snacks and drinks. The ebikes are well maintained and made biking through the city so easy. Highly Recommend!

A great way to see more... - A great way to see more of Rome. The ride is over some cobblestones at times so a bit bumpy but a nice ride. Lorenzo was very personable, patient, and had a sense of humor that was appreciated.

Easy Ride on the Appian Way - Delightful ebike experience on 9-24-25. Safety instructions were clear throughout tour. Lorenzo provided rich history filled with stories, humor and encouraged group participation. It was our first eBike experience--love the technology! Hills and distance are no problem. A little bit everything on the tour: catacombs, aqueducts, Appian Way, nature trails and a snack/beverage to boot. This tour was one of the top highlights of our 2 weeks in Rome. Thanks, Lorenzo and STARBIKE!

Beautifully Hidden Gems In Rome - If you want to see a different side of Rome or take a break from all of the tourists, this tour is it. Alex was a PHENOMENAL tour guide. He kept us on our toes with his stories and pop quizzes and showed us some beautiful parts of Rome. As an added bonus, the store owner helped us acquire some tickets for a last minute Colosseum tour through an affiliated company. Everyone at Starbike were extremely nice, courteous, knowledgeable, and accommodating. 10 out of 10 would do it again (and send my friends).

Do not miss out on the best tour in Rome! - We’ve been in Rome a week now, & did 7 different incredible tours, visiting so many great sites in Rome (& beyond!). However, THIS was our favourite tour by far! ALEX!!! Could not have asked for a more engaging, knowledgeable, funny, kind, wonderful, etc etc guide. Truly, we learned so much through his captivating, nearly re-enacted, stories of Ancient Rome. The e-bikes were a perfect way to cover a lot of ground outdoors in the beautiful aqueduct park, even the rustic & bumpy ancient Appian way we managed & felt safe with Alex’s guidance. I will be strongly recommending this tour above all others to anyone we know visiting Rome! Don’t take a chance on missing out - book it!

Amazing Rome bike tour with Alex—our second tour with this company and still outstanding! - This was our second tour with this company, and once again it was an amazing experience. This time our guide was Alex, and he did a fantastic job. He kept everyone safe, made the pace comfortable for our group (ages ranged from 30 to 70), and was very knowledgeable about the history. We visited the catacombs, the ancient aqueduct, and even walked along an ancient Roman road. Alex gave great explanations and made the stops both fun and educational. I also appreciated the short breaks he built in along the way, which made the tour enjoyable without feeling rushed. One thing I really appreciated was how the company accommodated my son’s food allergies (lactose and egg). At the restaurant stop, they made him a special risotto with vegetables, no cheese or egg, and he absolutely loved it. That kind of attention to detail makes such a difference for families. If you want to see Rome from a different perspective while also getting some exercise, I highly recommend this tour company. We’ve now gone twice and would happily do it again.
