Vacation - Very convenient. Easy to access. Used as transportation around the city. The busses were prompt. Glad we did it.

Awesome! - My client flight was delayed and could not make their tour the scheduled date. They were delighted at the great customer service from this company. They accommodated them the next day hassle free. That meant a lot to them for they had a long flight from the USA to Rome and being able to change their tour so easily was the beginning of a great experience in Rome!

Would have to say that... - Would have to say that it’s not the fastest way to get around Rome. This is only because traffic is crazy and hard for a bus to move around.

Hop on hop off - An ok tour, took you to the sites but the radio and headphones didn’t work on a lot of the seats, the commentary did not always match up to the sites either

Overview of Rome - It makes the rounds but the traffic is so bad it's slow moving. Good if you want an overall tour of Rome.

Not enough information or history. Maybe update technology. - We journeyed the whole loop of the bus wanting to orientate ourselves so didn’t hop on or off. Perhaps that’s why we noticed the breaks. The commentary didn’t work for at least 1/2 the journey the rest of the time it was very quiet. The driver forgot to inform us which stop we we coming up to. Also there were 3 unexplained stops of over 15 minutes on the loop. Was this normal?

2 hours of my life i won't get back - Some city's lend themselves to really good bus tours, sadly Rome doesn't. Most of the really good sights are not in view. You get to see the colosseum, circus maximus and a few others but not great views of them to be honest. Rome is one of those cities that you have to walk to discover properly. Queues to get on Buses for all companies tend to be in the same place, resulting in a bun fight between companies at each stop, as busses and customers jockey for space. Progress so slow in places, we contemplated getting off and walking. Audio is automated and AI recorded. Details sketchy and difficult to understand. One to avoid.

Disappointing - We always book hop on hop off bus trips on the first day of our visit to new cities. We ride the entire loop and decide what sites we’d like to visit. Get an idea of how to get around the city. This experience was a disappointment. We had to change seats many times , looking for a speaker that worked. The narrative was limited. Most of the time was just music. We passed many areas where information would have been appreciated. BEWARE - most tickets are valid for 24 hrs, this city trip is valid for1 day! Makes a big difference if you’re not getting on the bus until afternoon.

Disappointed in this tour - This is probably the worst hop on / hop off we have ever taken. We booked this tour because we knew it was going to be rainy and we had a short time in Rome. While we were able to see many of the historic sites the tour itself was not enjoyable. The rain had stopped, but there was no effort made to dry off the seats so we had to sit downstairs. The three women driving and taking tickets were not friendly and loudly chatted to each other the entire time. The recorded narration was not information on which direction we should be looking, was very short of description, and played the same loud, Italian opera interludes over and over again, until we just had to exit before the final two stops. Don't waste your money on this tour.
