As a wildlife photographer and an ardent lover of Africa’s vast landscapes, the idea of climbing Kilimanjaro had always been a distant dream. I embarked on this journey with the Incredible Africa Adventures team, eager to experience the thrill of high-altitude trekking and to capture the breathtaking vistas that awaited.

From the moment I arrived at Kilimanjaro International Airport, the meticulous planning and preparation by the team were evident. Our head guide, Rafael, greeted us with a warm smile and a detailed briefing. The anticipation was palpable as we set off from Londorossi Gate, trekking through the lush rainforests of West Kilimanjaro. The air was filled with the sounds of nature, a symphony that accompanied us as we made our way to Mti Mkubwa Camp.

As the sun rose, painting the sky in hues of gold and pink, I felt a profound sense of gratitude for the experience and the team that had made it possible.
