Great trip with Amazing Guide (Elvin) - We had such a great time in this tour! The Mayan ruins were fascinating and the cave tubing was so much fun. Each activity was the perfect length. Our incredible guide, Elvin, elevated the experience even more. He was amazing at his job and went above and beyond. Highly this trip, and Elvin as a guide.

Great adventure - Our tour guide rashim picked me up from my hotel and we headed to the temple first , he was very knowledgable on the subject and was happy to answer any questions about the area including the temples, wildlife and anything else

Great Communication - I had a wonderful time with UpClose Belize! I booked a tubing and Altun Ha Trip 3 days prior to the tour start time and UpClose Belize provided top quality communication the entire time. I travelled solo and was placed with a group of 4 others, our tour guide arrived in a very comfortable air conditioned van and was extremely knowledgable about Belize and had a great personality. I felt safe the entire time and had a blast. Definitely go cave tubing if you are in Belize, its an amazing refreshing experience.

Good company - The tour operator was responsive and able to get everything adjusted when the cave closed due to rain. We instead did horse riding. Our driver James was very nice. The tour company did a good job of making sure everything went well and coordinating everything. I did feel that the tour total was a bit expensive at first when we added in the horse riding, however, our driver drove us 1.5 hours in one direction and then 2 hours in another and then 2 hours home so I get it because the gas is so expensive there… plus we went to a farm where the horses seemed to be healthy and treated well so that’s good too.

Cave experience was fabulous! Be ready to hike a little and get well as well. - This was an enjoyable experience. The cave was natural and had a lot of history behind it. The water flow was amazing the tubing experience was refreshing. Overall, we enjoyed the peace and quiet of this amazing cave experience.

Relax and Learn about Mayans - Auner the tour guide was very knowledgeable!!! First, he picked our group up at our Vrbo rental house which was in Phase 3 (outside of town). It was hard for taxi services to get to the Vrbo house but Auner found it very easy. The WhatsApp is very handy and I sent the manager the vrbo house location via that app. We was a group of girls (5), loud and proud! He was very respectful. The girls wanted to eat lunch in between tubing and the ruins. He kindly took us to a tiki bar/restaurant on the way. The history on Altun Ha was interesting to compare to Lamanai Ruins that we had seen several days prior. He helped us understand the culture and differences in the timeline of the two ruins. I would definitely recommend Auner as the tour guide!
