What a wonderful time! - What a wonderful experience! We are visiting my partners parents (who are from SA) and went for the food and wine pairings. Frida (our server) was amazing and so knowledgeable about the wines. She even looked up where we can find them in Boston! Loved every minute of this!

Great value for money - Very interesting selection to pair with and very accomodating staff. My wife asked for a varied platter and the staff were very supportive in putting everything together. There is a non-alcoholic option for designated drivers! The setting under the trees was welcome in the heat. An inexpensive wine but still great service and setting

Wine pairing in the tasting room - We had a wonderful experience at Van Lovern wine tasting today. The place was packed and the staff still had a smile on their faces and nothing seemed to be a problem if you needed anything. We were a table of 8 that all had different tastings.

DONT GO THERE IF YOU DONT LOVE WINE AND GARDEN ATMOSPHERE - The gardens at Van Loveren are so serene and add a wonderful atmosphere to the wine tasting experience. But you should not be in the Robertson Wine Valley if you do not like wines, because that is what the valley is all about.

Relaxing - We sat on a hot day in a cool beautiful garden and and enjoyed our wine and after that we went and bought a few bottles of good wine to take home with us.

Underwhelmed - The restaurant is beautiful. The wine pairing was exactly what I was looking forward to. We had the Van Loveren wine and cheese pairing & Undiscovered Gems pairing. The service was not great. The staff was busy cleaning the restaurant and it felt they were suppose to do that before the restaurant had opened
