Highlights
- Roanoke River Greenway - We will ride along the scenic Roanoke River Greenway that follows the Roanoke River. This flat, bike-friendly path will give us a great warmup to get used to our e-bikes.
- Mill Mountain Parkway - We will bike up to the start of the old road up to Mill Mountain. This gives us the best view of the Roanoke Valley.
- Starr Hill Pilot Brewery And Side Stage - Great local brewery. Great local brewery! We will sample some of their great beers at the base of Mill Mountain and along the Roanoke River. Their patio is a great place to take our first pit stop before we make our way downtown.
- Golden Cactus Brewing - Great brewery, great vibes, great ambience. Golden Cactus: We love to stop here to sit amongst the hundreds of cactus and plants that sets the vibe at this brewery. Play foosball or order a quick bite to eat from the adjacent Food Hut.

Additional Information
Embark on our exciting Views & Brews electric bike ride for stunning views of the Blue Ridge mountains and tasty stops at 3 local breweries along a secure and enjoyable route stretching from town to mountain and back. We set off from the RMA shop at 2pm, going through residential areas and village centers, before making our way across the river to downtown Roanoke. Not just staying by the Roanoke River and Mill Mountain greenway paths, we’ll journey through the heart of the city and even take a light-hearted ride across the mountain on a beginner-friendly gravel track.
Your safety is our prime concern, so this event is structured to offer abundant coaching as we enhance your e-bike riding capabilities. The only pre-requisites are that you must be at least 21 years old and have experience riding a bicycle. This activity is particularly suitable for romantic evenings; visits from friends from abroad; initiation to e-bike riding; acquainting with Roanoke for new residents or potential movers; and/or gaining knowledge about the vibrant Roanoke downtown brewery landscape.

Anniversary e-bike tour - We had a blast riding around the city and visiting three very different breweries. Shawn was knowledgeable, fun, and chill. We loved the e-bikes and see why people want to purchase them. We would recommend this adventure to anyone coming into Roanoke. It’s a great way to explore the city without being completely exhausted.

An amazing, safe and fun experience - A fantastic tour including mountain route and downtown Roanoke, visiting 3 breweries. Sean was a great guide and worked hard to ensure all members of the party were looked after.
Safety was paramount throughout. The e-bikes were brilliant and the whole experience was huge fun.

Great spring trip! - Excellent trip and Shawn was an amazing guide!! I’m not a strong bike rider but felt very comfortable and supported on the trip. Will definitely be back again!!

You should do this! - Sean, our guide was very good! He was knowledgeable, patient and engaging. Wonderful tour of the greenway, a spectacular view of the Valley from Mill Mountain and a fun tour downtown. We have lived in Roanoke for many years and so happy we went on this tour to see our beautiful city from a new perspective!

Awesome eBike tour - My husband and I had a wonderful eBike trip riding up Mill Mountain and seeing parts of the city we wouldn't normally see. Sean was informative and fun.

Such a Blast!!! - I knew we would have a good time. I didn’t realize we would have such an Amazing time! Our tour guide Shawn was so nice and knowledgeable! He was really helpful in explaining how the e-bikes work and gave us tips throughout the tour on what to expect. The views were beautiful. The breweries and beer selections were unique. E-bikes are a blast! They were not difficult to get used to and we felt safe. We’re going back in a few weeks!!!

Awesome fun with family - It was a great relaxing way to see some sights and have a taste of some great breweries. Our bike guide was knowledgeable about the area and made the experience fun. Will definitely go again

We had a blast. - We had a blast on our tour. Our guide was terrific and very accommodating. This is a great way to enjoy amazing views of Roanoke and get a taste of some good beer.

Great experience! - Great experience - a 'must do' if you're in Roanoke!
Was nervous about riding E-Bike but our guide, Sean, was so reassuring. He explained everything thoroughly & we practised before heading off.
Very impressed with the bikes which made hill climbing so easy - perfect for me. My husband chose to ride with very little power assistance - he wanted more of a workout! But that's the beauty of these bikes - you can choose how much help they give you.
Brewery stops were great too. We visited 3 very different but interesting places with a wide range of beers.
Sean was a top bloke - very experienced cyclist / tour guide ...plus excellent company.
Thoroughly recommend this.

Great 1/2 day activity to see the city - The views were amazing! The ride was tailored to our group’s wants for the breweries. A little city and a little nature was involved with the tour which was nice. The only thing I’d say would have been nice would be if the guide told a few fun facts about Roanoke and the history of the city.
