Unexpected experience, it’s amazing! - It’s our first time to go Mexico and the tour was in a small group which brought us quite enough time to interact with other locals and friends from the worldwide. Even though the tour guide only spoke Spanish, many friends from the tour could translate to English and that wasn’t a problem to us. A visit at the crocodile centre was amazing along with the initial pink lake and flamingo tour, you better be brave enough to touch the crocodiles!

A wonderful nature experience - This whole experience was wonderful! The trip is very well planned, right from the working breakfast in the bus, the pink lagoon (wish they would add the watchtower to it), the cruise through the mangroves to see the flamingos, the friendly crocodiles (first time I saw friendly crocodiles), the Mayan mud pack, the fast race to the gulf of Mexico for a warm swim in the Caribbean Sea, the wonderful Mexican lunch subsequent to that and then, the final stop at the crocodile farm. I specifically cherish touching Amigo, the master crocodile there! This trip is definitely a must do! I am glad I chose it! The guide and driver were friendly and supportive.

Loved the mangrove forest and animals, didn’t like the tour operator - The boat ride through the mangrove trees to the Gulf of Mexico was the highlight of our trip. The guide was helpful and tried their best to make our experience memorable. The 3 stars are for that. Everything else was bad. The day before our experience, we were told our pickup would be at 6.10AM and we were asked to wait in the hotel lobby. We got to the lobby at 6.05. At 6.10 or so got a text to walk out of the lobby and wait for white bus. Which we did. Nobody came and a few mins later, got a text that we missed pickup because we weren’t at the pickup location on time. We tried to tell the tour operator that nobody came, even call them and have the bell boy speak with them, in case something was lost in translation. Didn’t pickup the phone and was more interested in assigning blame. Luckily the bus came a few mins later, probably was just stuck in traffic, and we started our tour. The first half of the day went into pooling tourists from cancun and playa del Carmen. We didn’t even get started towards las Coloradas till about 11-11.30 in the morning. The tour was okay, no efforts to raise the bar. The tour company seemed more of a transportation provider than a tour experience provider. The total tour time from cancun was over 12 hrs. Very tiring and in retrospect probably should have booked through a different operator
