Into the Heart of the Red Sands

The sun was a blazing orb in the sky as we set off from Riyadh, the air-conditioned vehicle a welcome respite from the desert heat. As a former extreme sports athlete, I’ve always been drawn to the thrill of the unknown, and the Red Sand Desert promised just that.
