Exceptional Tour of Chichen Itza - The Chichen Itza Tour was PHENOMENAL! Fernando, Victor, and Adrian guided us with such enthusiasm and such a high-energy filled day full of learning about the rich history of the Mayan culture. The entire day was planned out perfectly and the whole team took care to ensure everyone from the group was taken care for, and never left anyone behind. The Tulum tour was unfortunately not as great and I would have passed on it. I should add that this was with a DIFFERENT tour company. (Amazing Tours I think?) Our bus showed up 20 minutes late from the scheduled time, once on the bus, we had a very long approximately 30 minute stop without any sort of communication from the driver or guide on why we were stopping. There was not a lot of engagement from our guide while on the bus, he would just speak to give us instructions about 10 minutes before we got to each stop, and even the instructions were not thorough (this did improve by stop 3) The entire day seemed rushed and unplanned. Our guide also left my friend and I at our first stop which were the bathrooms before entry into the Tulum ruins park. We spent 40 minutes trying to call and contact him so we could get tickets to enter and unfortunately lost more time. After that, we were also unable to partake in the Cabo visit due to large amounts of rain.
