I really enjoyed this... - I really enjoyed this walking tour in Rishikesh with Aaditya. He was friendly, knowledgeable, and happy to answer all my questions along the way. We visited several ashrams, including the famous Beatles Ashram, and I learned a lot about the area’s history and spiritual culture. Aaditya showed up right on time and made the experience relaxed and enjoyable.

Really rather lovely - Bit of a job to find - no signs and those that are in Hindi only refer to the tiger and elephant park. On one level, there really isn’t much here. On another level, that’s what makes it really rather lovely. No big signs, displays, noises. Have a little read up before you go and you will be in for a magical hour or two.

Amazing Guided Walk at The Beatles Ashram - I always send my guests from different countries to The Beatles Ashram for the guided historical walks by Om Prakash. The service is excellent, and everyone has a wonderful experience learning about the history and stories of this special place. I highly recommend this tour for anyone visiting Rishikesh. It’s a must-do activity!

Interesting and exciting - The tour was quite interesting, especially the “Beatles” Ashram we liked a lot, otherwise the other Ashrams were not quite as interesting, as everyone was quite similar. Tour was therefore a bit long.

The Beatles Ashram is an interesting place to visit but it does require some distance in walking. - Om is a knowledgeable guide on Ashrams and meditation. He did not come to reception at our hotel so there was another 10-15 minutes wait time. It’s not clear that the tour was a walking tour. I arranged it thinking there would be transport to the bridge as I have a bad leg and use a walking stick. He left us at the 2nd Ashram for lunch and said I was clever and we could find our own way back. There was extra walking again in the hot sun to find the tuk tuks to take us back. I had been to the Beatles Ashram before with my husband 2 years ago. This time with my friend so I knew if we had to walk it would be tiring for me. Om shared a lot of his own beliefs on meditation which was very interesting.

Beatles Ashram is an amazing place - The guide was useful to help us locate the Beatles Ashram but gave no information once inside . Of note is the fact that you have to pay the additional £24 entrance fee to the Tiger reserve that the Beatles Ashram lies within. The Beatles Ashram is in a sad state of decay and no up keep is done. A piece of history well worth seeing but see it soon as I expect it will not be here forever.. Guide said very little generally and spent most of her time either on her phone or talking to other tourists she had met on her previous tours to arrange further tours with them
