You cannot leave Ushuaia without doing these excursions - Excellent tour of the lakes, incredible photos and unforgettable landscapes, the guide Gonzalo was the best of all the trip and of all the excursions, information about everything we wanted to know and the best vibe.

Lots of nature and history mixed with a little adrenaline. - This excursion was a lot of bang for the buck. Duration was 9 hours. Our guide was a pleasant fellow born and raised in Ushuaia and his English skills were good. There were five of us, myself and four others from Buenos Aires. I don't speak much Spanish and they didn't speak much English but we had fun trying to converse. Of course, the guide translated a lot. The trip started with a hotel pickup and a couple of stops for photo ops north of Ushuaia. Then we began the off road part. We descended down dirt switchbacks to Hidden Lake and visited a creepy derelict hotel that was abandoned about 30 years ago. As we made our way around the lake we stopped two more times for photo ops. Then we visited a coffee shop to relax and enjoy the placid environment. The second part of the off road was to Lake Fagnano. We went to a rustic setting where lunch was prepared for us. It was very good and I have to say that meal would have cost at least $75 USD in Ushuaia. A vegetarian option was also available. Wine, coke, and water were the drinks of choice. We stayed there a while, enjoyed the Lakeside solitude and then departed for Ushuaia. We stopped one more time at a nature preserve to watch beavers actively building the largest beaver dam I've ever seen. There was a lot of wildlife throughout the trip. We saw Patagonia foxes and parello birds up close, and the beavers. This excursion was at a very relaxed pace. There was a schedule to keep, of course, but nothing was rushed. I would highly recommend this trip to see some of the beauty Tierra Del Fruego has to offer.

The perfect experience - Ushuaia has to be one of the most beautiful places I have ever seen. I walked to another hotel to wait on a 4x4 adventure and the mountains were breathtaking. We drove east into the mountains and then north. We drove through the Bombillo forest. We were on a typical tourist route when we were on hardtop. No one followed off road. Our driver and guide, Mauricio, loves his job. He says he goes on vacation everyday. I spent the day as the only english speaker. Maricio spoke a little. It was a fun trying to learn about one another with Spanglish. I also listened to their conversations via google translate until we lost cell coverage. My travel partners were from Cordova, Argentina, two from Uruguay and two from La Plata. One was a nurse, one retired, one worked as a domestic in a school, one was a factory worker, and another was a ship's captain. We stopped and entered an abandoned house. Anyone up until 20 years ago could bid for a 10 year lease on the property from the government. They shut it down because the septic system was leaking into the lake(seems like they could have fixed that). The scenery around the home would never get tiring. We stopped for a coffee in a community of Escondido. They were roasting a pig. We stopped for an extended period of time at a semi-primitive camp. We ate sausage sandwiches, salad, some steak and a dulce de leche and nectarine dessert. Mauricio went above and beyond. We were treated to carancho (like an eagle), a red fox, and a hawk enjoying our leftover food. The lakes we saw were Hidden lake and Fagnano. The wind blowing off the lake was freezing. On the way back we stopped at a few more scenic spots. We went on a short hike above a beaver pond and watched them swim a little. It was an experience I will remember fondly forever.

Magical day with the 4x4 off road experience throughout Lagos - I will try to summarize my experience with the Info Ushuaia agency, I went for money and I got gold. At info Ushuaia, Rocio welcomed me, a genius, she helped me choose the best option to celebrate my birthday "alone", Rocio super professional, diligent, patient and empathetic From there I knew that everything was going to be perfect. At the indicated time, the driver and guide Ariel Martinez picked me up, the best thing that could have happened to me was meeting him, thanks to him and the entire team including Luis, I had the best birthday of my life, the adventure, the excitement of experiencing 4x4 plus the Explanations and interaction with Ariel was incredible, I was lucky that it was a beautiful group, it is also very personalized because there are only 6 people in each van. The whole tour was laughter, my cheeks hurt from laughing, from being ecstatic with everything my eyes saw, impressive places from movies, lakes, rivers, forests, and we were lucky enough to see a beaver :o but that's not all, nooo my day was just beginning, after many stops, adrenaline, fun we arrived at the shelter (I won't give details so you can marvel too) there a snack with lunch was waiting for us, a delicious juicy and soft steak of meat plus wine. My surprise when I entered the shelter again, everyone singing my birthday, the company and all the complicit boys had brought me a cake, chocolates, and cider. My eyes filled with joy, everyone was part of a special day that made it simply unique, fantastic, magical. I have no words to describe what that 4x4 experience with Ariel was like, it's the best. I hope I can convey in letters what that whole Lagos 4x4 of road experience was with the wonderful group and ARIEL made me love Ushuaia, the best driver, guide, companion THE MOST!!!! Just thanks to the entire Ushusia info team, I had the best day of my life :) I recommend the 4x4 all-lakes road tour with lunch. I also did the crab route with them, of course I asked Ariel for a guide and driver, they pleased me xD It is different, quieter but with amazing landscapes, you have to visit Puerto Almansa. (Surprises) lunch with a tasting of the exquisite catch of the day, really 2 experiences that filled my eyes, my belly and my soul. Total thanks to that great team for making us feel, vibrate and not just another tourist number. 100% recommend both excursions. (I'll tell you a secret, quietly shhh order with Ariel :D) I remain at your disposal, if anyone has doubts about Ushusia, they should not exist, Ushusia is AMAZING, AMAZING!!!
