Ray makes Richmond's history come alive with fascinating details - After reading reviews, and talking to the concierge at the Jefferson Hotel, we called the Richmond Tour Guys. There is a reason why they have earned so many five star reviews, and have such a great reputation - They are Excellent. Our guide for a fabulous three hours was Ray. Ray makes the history of Richmond come alive, he has the ability to share the fascinating stories that make each location come alive with interesting details. We're history lovers, and part of the family lives just north of Richmond; yet, we learned so much. Ray is a fascinating guide who loves to share the history that you don't always find in books, or on the net. A wonderful afternoon with Ray, we came away a much richer appreciation of the history of Richmond. And, yes, we are already planning our next visit to Richmond, and of course, we will book another tour with Ray.

Great walking tour of historic Richmond - We had a fabulous walking tour with Kathy on a very hot day. Since we were the only people brave enough to come out in that heat, Kathy was gracious enough to find as much shade as possible as we walked and talked. Kathy was very knowledgeable and shared many interesting stories about the people who lived in Richmond and the area of Church Hill. We learned a lot and enjoyed the history of this great city. We would highly recommend taking this walking tour.

Learned a lot and thoroughly enjoyed myself. Great experience. Very worthwhile. - I was fortunate to have a personal tour and was so impressed by the knowledge and passion that was imparted. The tour kept a brisk pace, covered a lot of territory and was generally quite captivating. I was also very pleased with the thoughtful approach---putting the customer first and my needs. I wish I could have spent the entire day!

Definitely would recommend to a friend. She did a great job! - My tour guide was great. Very knowledgeable of the area as she is from Richmond, PA and she shared some stories about herself growing up in Richmond. The tour felt personalized. Plus, she has a hobby with flowers. My favorite part of the tour was we passed some Magnolias and she said, "I have to smell these magnolias......ahhhh....you know you are in Richmond when you smell the magnolias!"

Overpriced and very little content - Tour was way overpriced, shorter than advertised (60 minutes versus 90), and showed us virtually nothing. Several comments were made about our age which were totally inappropriate.
