Good history and great local info. - Good tour and our guide was great. I just wish we had more to see or maybe add another stop to actually tour a site. The tour was informative and I learned quite a lot about all the rich history.

Informative and comprehensive tour! - It’s was a very comprehensive tour of Richmond(very informative) and gives me even more pride in my newly adopted city. Only suggestion is to bring something to pad your back/butt since trolleys seats are not comfortable. Also would appreciate at least one more stretch your legs moment or let the tour be a hop on and off option for the full day!

Great way to start your Richmond adventure. - First time here. We decided to start our visit of Richmond with this Historic Trolley tour to get a baseline of what else we wanted to see and do. Perfect decision. We were able to plan out a great overall visit based on things we saw from the tour. The guide was engaging, knowledgeable, and entertaining. The trolley was clean and comfortable. We would both highly recommend this tour, and also would take this tour again.

Average w/ Room for Improvement - While the guide was certainly knowledgeable, the tour was basically a history lecture. There wasn't a single stop to get out and see anything outside of the uncomfortable trolley - or even to stretch your legs. Many sites were photo worthy, but we could never get out to see anything but a passing glance. Some of the guide's comments were well intentioned but a little culturally insensitive. This wasn't horrible, but there is room for improvement.

Terrible! - The wooden dowel seats were very hard to sit on as our trolley's shock absorbers didn't work and the streets were often cobblestone. Maybe our tour guide was a substitute--I hope so-- because, although she was a friendly woman, she didn't give us much information at all. Almost nothing about the old neighborhoods we saw, nothing about the architecture. She did point out the historic church. When we paused to stretch our legs, my sister and I left the tour and just looked around by ourselves. Caught an Uber back. Get a different tour!!
